Well done to one of our level 4 groups for hosting the halloween party this year. This was part of one of there group activities and they put a lot of work into the planning of the day. They spent a lot of weeks planning and decorating the centre in preparation for the day. On the day there was food and drinks available and plenty of things to do like: colouring competition, halloween quiz, we also had a movie and realaxation room set up for those who rathered a calmer vibe and of course a competition for best costume. Well done everyone for taking part. The winners of the halloween quiz were; Lorina and Amy, two of our very smart tutors 😁😁😁. The winners of our fancy dress were as follows: 1st place- Neela 2nd place- Iryna 3rd place- Nicola and the 2 runner up prizes went to Josh and Ivo. Well done everyone👏👏👏 .

As part of Maths week last week, our Maths tutor Amy set out a competition where everyone had to guess the amount of sweets in each box. Congrats to Seren and Grace for winning. They both got to keep the sweets that were in the boxes as a prize. Well done everyone for taking part.

In support of mental health day which fell on Saturday the 10th of October, we took the students out for an adventure work to support positive mental health. It gave us an opportunity to take in the fresh air and have the chats. Everyone felt so refreshed and positive afterwards.

As part of our summer programme, the staff and students went to Leisure Max in Wexford. This was a fun filled day with lots of activities. We started off easy, using our brains in the escape rooms. We then played a couple of rounds of lazer tag, followed by a football simulator. Then some students done wall climbing, while the others played some goggle football. We finished out the day with some good food and a few games of bowling. Lets just say the day was so much fun that the bus was very quiet on the way home, due to everyone been worn out from laughing and some healthy competitiveness.

Oh wow, what a great day. We took the students on a trip to Emerald Park. What a day, there was laughing and screaming and just all around good fun. It's nice to get a day out and we were so blessed with the weather. Also, it was our student Dylan Geraghty's last trip as a Youthreach student.
