מועדון האו״ם אריאל ממשיך לעסוק בסוגיות בינלאומיות מורכבות 🌍
בסימולציה ייחודית על האביב הערבי ונפילתו של קדאפי, הסטודנטים לקחו חלק פעיל בדיונים, בקבלת החלטות ובניתוח תהליכים היסטוריים ופוליטיים.
תודה גדולה לכל הסטודנטים המשתתפים ולסגל המסור שסייע בהובלת הסימולציה ובהצלחתה.
אנחנו כבר מצפים לאירועים, לסימולציות ולאתגרים הבאים!🇺🇳

The Ariel Model UN Club continues to engage with complex global issues 🌍
In a unique simulation on the Arab Spring and the fall of Gaddafi, students actively participated in discussions, decision-making, and the analysis of historical and political processes.
Special thanks to the students who took part and to the dedicated staff who helped lead and support the simulation.
We are already looking forward to our upcoming events and future simulations!

היום במשרד החוץ במסגרת קורס דיפלומטיה ציבורית של שנה ב’ יחד עם חברי הבורד של המועדון. למדנו על עבודת הדיפלומטיה הישראלית, דיפלומטיה ציבורית ותקשורת, המזרח התיכון, ארגונים בינלאומיים וקורס הצוערים, וערכנו סיור באגפים המרכזיים.
חזרנו עם השראה, ידע ותובנות להמשך. גאים לייצג את אוניברסיטת אריאל וממשיכים קדימה.

Today we visited Israel’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs as part of our Public Diplomacy course, together with our MUN club board. We learned about Israel’s diplomatic work, public diplomacy and communication, the Middle East, international organizations, the cadet program, and toured key departments.
We left inspired, informed, and motivated. Proud to represent Ariel University and ready for what’s next.

אהוד, שכיהן בעבר כיו״ר המועדון, הותיר חותם עמוק בעשייתו, במסירותו ובתרומתו המשמעותית לקידום ערכי דיפלומטיה, מנהיגות ומעורבות סטודנטיאלית.

אצלנו במועדון מודל האו״ם באוניברסיטת אריאל ,נכנסו לאווירת חנוכה קצת מוקדם והתפנקנו בסופגניות שוות במיוחד. 🤓
במקביל לא שכחנו את העבודה הרצינית. תרגלנו כתיבה של Resolution, שיפור דיבור ועמידה מול קהל באנגלית, והרבה תלמידים עשו קפיצה אמיתית ביכולות שלהם.
היה חם, מקצועי ומלא אנרגיות טובות. מחכים כבר למפגש הבא🥳

At our Model United Nations club at Ariel University we jumped into the Hanukkah spirit a little early and treated ourselves to some amazing sufganiyot 🤓
At the same time we made sure not to skip the hard work. We practiced Resolution writing, strengthened our public speaking and stage presence in English, and many of our delegates made real progress in their skills.
It was warm, professional and full of good energy. We are already excited for the next session 🥳

למרות השטפונות המטורפים של אתמול זה לא יעצור אותנו 😂

חברי מועדון מודל האו״ם והבורד התכנסו כרגיל למפגש השבועי והפגינו מחויבות מרשימה.

במהלך המפגש תרגלנו
• איך נראית סימולציה מלאה
• סדר הדיון Flow of Debate
• CPR ו CIA
• תרגול מעשי של נהלים וטיוטות החלטה

המשתתפים התנסו שאלו שאלות ותרגלו כמו מקצוענים וסיימנו את הערב באווירה מצוינת עם פיצות ושתייה.

נתראה במפגש הבא גשם או לא גשם. 🤩

Even with yesterday’s crazy floods nothing is stopping us 😂

Our MUN Club members and board gathered for our weekly meeting and showed impressive dedication.

During the session we practiced
• What a full simulation looks like
• The flow of debate
• CPR and CIA
• Practical training in rules procedures and drafting

Everyone participated asked great questions and practiced like true delegates and we wrapped up with pizza drinks and great vibes.

היום קיימנו את הסימולציה הראשונה של מועדון מודל האו״ם בנושא ייצוב המשטר בסוריה.
המשתתפים הפגינו חשיבה יצירתית, הציעו פתרונות מגוונים והתנסו לראשונה בעבודה בסימולציה של ועדת הביטחון.
אנחנו גאים בכולם על המעורבות, הרצינות והאנרגיות המדהימות. זו רק ההתחלה! 🌍✨

Today we held our first Model UN simulation on Stabilizing the Regime in Syria.
Participants demonstrated creative thinking, presented diverse solutions and experienced their first Security Council style simulation.
We are proud of everyones engagement, professionalism and amazing energy. This is only the beginning! 🌍✨

היום זכינו לארח באוניברסיטת אריאל את שגרירת קוסובו בישראל!
השגרירה הייתה חמה, לבבית ופתוחה, וענתה בשמחה על כל שאלות הסטודנטים.
זו הייתה חוויה מרתקת ומעוררת השראה עבורנו, ללמוד מנקודת מבטה על יחסים דיפלומטיים, על תפקידה כשגרירה אישה, ועל ההשפעות של המלחמה בישראל בשנת 2023.

במועדון מודל האו״ם שלנו אנו מאמינים שאין תחליף למפגש עם דיפלומטים אמיתיים כדי להבין לעומק את עולם יחסי החוץ והמדיניות הגלובלית.
תודה לשגרירה על ביקור מעורר השראה!

Today we had the honor of hosting the Ambassador of Kosovo to Israel at Ariel University!
She was warm, kind, and open, and answered all the students’ questions with great enthusiasm.
It was an inspiring and meaningful experience to hear her insights about diplomacy, her perspective as a female ambassador, and how the 2023 war in Israel affected her personally.

At our Model UN Club, we believe that meeting real diplomats is the best way to truly understand the world of foreign policy and international relations.
Thank you, Madam Ambassador, for such an inspiring visit!

איזה כיף!
בערב הראשון של מועדון האום נפגשנו לדבר על תחרויות, על תכנון המשך הסמסטר ועל איך נוכל להתקדם יחד. היה ערב באווירה טובה, עם הרבה רעיונות, צחוקים,מוטיבציה והתחלה מבטיחה לשנה שבאה עלינו.

At our first UN Club evening, we talked about upcoming competitions, semester plans, and how we can keep improving together. It was a fun, energetic night full of laugh,ideas,motivation what a great start for the semester!

🌍 What a Year for the Armun Club! 🌍

This year has been an incredible journey of growth and learning for our MUN team! From mastering the art of diplomacy to exploring the corridors of international relations, here’s a snapshot of what we achieved:

🗣️ Skills Sharpened: Our delegates honed essential skills like drafting opening speeches, crafting strong arguments, writing position papers & resolutions, and understanding the delicate balance of diplomacy.

🎓 Conference Highlights: We proudly participated in MUN conferences in Kiryat Ono and Be’er Sheva, where our students applied their knowledge and demonstrated their amazing skills!

🌍 International Success in Freiburg: Our team took part in an international MUN conference in Freiburg, Germany, representing key countries in the historical UN Convention on Climate Change. The goal was to push for stronger agreements beyond those achieved in the Copenhagen Accords of 2009. We are thrilled to share that our president of this year , won the Second Place award for her amazing work. The entire team showcased their professionalism and diplomatic skills, making us proud on the global stage.

🏛️ Behind the Scenes: We had the amazing opportunity to tour the Israeli Foreign Ministry, meet with professionals, and dive deeper into the world of Israeli diplomacy. This experience exposed us to potential career paths in international relations and diplomacy.

🌟 What’s Next: Our journey doesn’t stop here! We are excited to continue developing our skills and representing our university on more Model UN stages. Stay tuned for more exciting developments!

🌍 International Conference Success in Freiburg, Germany! 🌍

Our delegation had the opportunity to participate at the Model UN conference in Freiburg, where we stepped into the diplomatic arena to represent key countries at the historical UN Convention on Climate Change. 🌱

✨ Exceptional Team Effort: Every delegate in our team demonstrated remarkable professionalism and diplomatic skill throughout the conference. From negotiating key points to formulating well-researched arguments, each member played a vital role in the discussions. We couldn’t be more proud of how they represented our university and the club with such dedication and expertise. 🤝

🏆 A Special Congratulations: We are thrilled to announce that the representative of China was awarded Second Place for her outstanding research, as she played a pivotal role in achieving stronger agreements in the conference room.🥈

This experience was not only educational but deeply enriching for everyone involved. We’re already looking forward to sending our next delegation to continue representing our club and university with pride and excellence.
