Semester: Spring/Summer 2025 ☀️
Coming from: BYU Provo 🏔️

“It’s hard to do a justice to my experience in Jerusalem. Everything about it was so amazing; the city, the center, the cultures, they all impacted me greatly. I can look back and say my experience at the Center changed my life. I gained amazing, lifelong  friends and a more deepened testimony of my Savior. The Jerusalem Center is truly the best!”

Here’s a snapshot into Raleigh’s Jerusalem story!

Semester: Spring/Summer 2025 ☀️
Coming from: BYU-Hawaii 🏝️

“BYU Jerusalem was one of the most meaningful and impactful experiences of my life and added on to my mission experience in equal measure. My testimony of Jesus Christ, his gospel and the person he was gained new vision and perspective as I visited where he and his apostles walked and taught and as I learned about the history of the land, people and historical events of the region. I got to witness firsthand ancient and modern miracles. I gained lifelong friends and memories. I am so grateful for this experience!”

Every student has a story. 📖 What will yours be?

We are thrilled to announce the grand opening of the Multisensory Stimulation (Snoezelen) Room at Al Basma School for Special needs in Beit Hanina, Jerusalem.
The construction of the room, opened on Thursday, September 19, 2024 was made possible through the generous donation of the LDS Charities and The Brigham Young University Jerusalem Center for Near Eastern Studies.
This safe and welcoming space provides autistic children a unique sensory experience, helping to support relaxation, communication, and cognitive development through carefully curated lights, sounds, textures, and interactive features.
The new Snoezelen room at Al Basma school places it as one of the leading institutions for special education in the country.
Thanks to all who contributed to the success of the project
