Yesterday, 26.7, the International Diplomacy Initiative, in collaboration with CIMEA, hosted an international webinar marking the 250th anniversary of U.S. independence.
We had the privilege of hearing from Prof. Eytan Gilboa, a leading expert on U.S.–Israel relations, who delivered a sharp analysis on the evolving dynamics between Washington and Jerusalem, the regional threat posed by Iran, and key trends shaping what’s to come in the Middle East.

On Monday, 15 June 2026, the IDI Reichman Diplomacy Club had the honor of meeting with H.E. Michael Mann, Ambassador of the European Union to Israel, at the EU Embassy.

The discussion focused on the European Union’s role in today’s geopolitical landscape, EU–Israel relations, and the challenges and opportunities facing European diplomacy. Members had the opportunity to engage directly with Ambassador Mann, ask questions, and gain firsthand insights into the work of the EU’s diplomatic mission.

We are grateful to Ambassador Michael Mann and the European Union Delegation to Israel for hosting us and for an enriching exchange of ideas.

On Thursday, 14 May 2026, members of the IDI Reichman Diplomacy Club visited the Embassy of Japan in Tel Aviv for a special meeting with Yoshi Higuchi, Media and Culture Attaché, alongside other diplomats from the Embassy.

During the visit, our members had the opportunity to explore Japan’s approach to public diplomacy, cultural exchange, and its relationship with Israel. The conversation offered a fascinating look into the role of culture, media, and diplomacy in strengthening international ties.

We thank Mr. Higuchi and the Embassy of Japan team for hosting us and for an insightful and welcoming discussion.

On Thursday, 30 April 2026, the IDI Reichman Diplomacy Club had the privilege of visiting the Embassy of Sri Lanka, where we met with Deputy Ambassador Raveen Ubeysekera.

The visit offered participants a valuable opportunity to learn more about Sri Lanka’s foreign policy, diplomatic priorities, and its relationship with Israel. We thank Deputy Ambassador Ubeysekera for sharing his insights during an engaging and thought-provoking discussion.
