🕯 One of the most powerful moments of our visit to Berlin was standing in the House of the Wannsee Conference, the place where the “Final Solution” was planned.

Being in that room, where history took such a dark turn, was deeply emotional. It’s a feeling that stays with you, a mix of reflection, sorrow, and responsibility.

Through the guided tour and workshop, we spoke about memory, moral duty, and what it means to carry history forward, not just as remembrance, but as a compass for the future.

Later, we joined a panel on innovation and bilateral cooperation between Israel and Germany, exploring how dialogue, technology, and collaboration can strengthen our partnership.

The day concluded with a youth panel on the future of German–Israeli relations, sharing ideas about how our generation can shape a shared and hopeful future.

This day truly captured the spirit of our delegation, honoring the past, engaging with the present, and building bridges for tomorrow. 🌍🤝

Our second day of the delegation has started with a visit to the Federal Foreign Office, where we met with Carsten Wilms, Head of Division for Culture, Society and Media Relations with Africa, the Near and Middle East and other key diplomats, on a discussion how cultural and social cooperation can strengthen mutual understanding.

Later, we had the honor of visiting the Embassy of Israel in Berlin, where Ambassador Ron Prosor generously dedicated his time to meet with us and share his valuable insights on the evolving partnership between our countries.

The day concluded with a dinner and cultural evening, accompanied by live music that created a warm and inspiring atmosphere, a perfect ending to a day filled with dialogue, learning, and connection.

It was a privilege to present our policy paper to decision-makers and contribute to a meaningful discussion shaping the future of Israel–Germany relations.

Our first day in Berlin 🇩🇪🇮🇱

We began our journey with a meaningful visit to the Bundestag, Germany’s federal parliament.
Our day opened with an inspiring conversation with Julia Klöckner, President of the Bundestag, exploring the future of German–Israeli relations, sharing our vision for stronger dialogue and partnerships, and being moved by her personal reflections on her recent visit to Israel and her firm stand against antisemitism.

We then toured the historic Bundestag building, from its plenary chamber to committee rooms, and concluded our visit with a thought-provoking panel discussion with Bundestag members from across the political spectrum:
• Markus Koob (CDU)
• Lisa Badum & Max Lucks (Alliance 90/The Greens)
• Jakob Blankenburg & Andreas Schwartz (SPD)
Together we tackled key topics shaping German–Israeli relations and the role of young leaders in fostering understanding and cooperation.

Afterwards, we paused at the Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe, a moment of reflection and remembrance that grounded our mission in history and responsibility.

Later, we were warmly welcomed at Axel Springer House, where Ronald Warin, Vice Editor-in-Chief of WELT TV & Video, introduced us to one of Europe’s most influential media hubs. We toured their cutting-edge studios, gained insights into their work, and met with journalists shaping public discourse.

A powerful first day of dialogue, remembrance, and exchange, building bridges and understanding for the future.
