The Vidal Sassoon International Center for the Study of Antisemitism (SICSA) was founded in 1982 at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem as an interdisciplinary research center dedicated to an independent approach to understanding the phenomenon of antisemitism. It was the first globally oriented research center of its kind and has continued to provide for the last 30 years unique resources for rese
archers, students, educators, journalists, and policy makers. SICSA has achieved much in contributing to public awareness about antisemitism through the dissemination of vital knowledge about potential threats and dangerous political trends. Our conference proceedings can be viewed on the internet from anywhere in the world at http://sicsa.huji.ac.il/. SICSA has developed the unique Felix Posen Bibliographic Project on Antisemitism which comprises online databases containing over 53,000 annotated items of multi-lingual resources regarding the Holocaust and antisemitism. New material is added as it becomes available on a regular basis. In addition, SICSA has published an unmatched range of books and research papers that have put the study of antisemitism on the global map.
