More than 5,000 participants from Israel and around the world joined us for the 31st annual Yemei Iyun B'Tanakh at Herzog College, a remarkable four-day celebration of Torah learning, meaningful conversation, and innovative teaching.

With lectures in Hebrew, English, French, and Russian, alongside livestreams that reached thousands more, this year's program explored how Tanakh continues to shape Jewish identity and speak to the questions and challenges of today.

The event, founded initially 33 years ago by Rabbi Yoel Bin-Nun as a summer professional development program for teachers, has grown into a major annual gathering that is open to the public.

Understanding the Philistines - Israel's most persistent enemy in the Tanakh - is key to grasping the historical and geographical context crucial for learning and teaching Tanakh & Parshanut.
