🌍 Meet IMPH Cohort 51: Julien David Kentish 🇦🇬
Julien David Kentish, from Antigua and Barbuda, is a health leader, Registered Nurse, Chartered Director, and humanitarian whose career spans clinical care, healthcare administration, governance, public service, and community development.
Currently pursuing his International Master of Public Health at the Hebrew University-Hadassah Braun School of Public Health and Community Medicine, Julien is passionate about strengthening health systems and advancing prevention-focused public health across Small Island Developing States.🌴🏥
His master's research explores a Healthy Family Feeding Programme aimed at reducing childhood obesity by promoting healthy nutrition during the first 1,000 days of life. By equipping healthcare workers and empowering parents with practical feeding knowledge, the programme seeks to foster healthier families from preconception through early childhood.
After graduation, Julien plans to return home to Antigua and Barbuda to help implement innovative public health programmes, strengthen health governance, and contribute to national and regional health policy.
