The Migdal Oz Beit Midrash is built on the conviction that the world of Torah and limmud are means through which each student can blossom and deepen her connection to Hashem. Migdal Oz is geared towards students who are seeking to grow spiritually and intellectually in a warm community of thoughtful, passionate and idealistic women from Israel and abroad. We believe that the Beit Midrash is a plac

e where today’s women can forge their own personal connection to their avodat Hashem and develop their Torah personalities, yirat shamayim, halachic commitment, and national identity. Abraham Beit Midrash for Women, headed by the dynamic educator and scholar, Rabbanit Esti Rozenberg, was established in 1997 by Yeshivat Har Etzion under the leadership of the late Roshei Yeshiva Rav Aharon Lichtenstein Zt”l and Rav Yehuda Amital Zt”l . Their colleagues, Rav Baruch Gigi, Rav Yaakov Medan and Rav Mosheh Lichtenstein, continue to teach in Migdal Oz and to offer guidance and educational expertise on an ongoing basis.

Last week, as we returned to the beit midrash in accordance with Home Front Command guidelines, it was deeply important to us that the sound of Torah study be accompanied by meaningful action on behalf of people in our Gush Etzion local community.
Alongside our regular morning seder hours, our students helped establish and run on our campus a morning program for children with special needs. Our students balanced their time between intensive study in the beit midrash and providing dedicated care and guidance for this wonderful group of children.
We were privileged to see firsthand how Torah study and community service weave together to build our collective resilience.
Praying for good news, salvation, and comfort for all.
