TAU MFA student Tama Castel premiered her film at Docaviv, sharing the story following the final years of her close friend’s life and honoring her story through cinema.

Filmed throughout the final years of her friend’s life, the film is a moving tribute to friendship, memory, and the courage to tell stories that matter.

Professor Jennifer Brick Murtazashvili has spent years studying how societies organize themselves in places where formal institutions are weak, fragmented, or absent.

In this episode, she breaks down:
