Celebrations Begin…… World Pharmacist Day 2026! Theme: “Empowering Pharmacists for Healthier Futures” under the mission “Swastha Bharat: Combating Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR)”. An awareness rally was organized by the staff and students of Bharat Pharmaceutical Technology (BPT) in and around Amtali on 24th September 2026 to create awareness among the general public about the risks of antibiotic misuse and antimicrobial resistance. Students participated enthusiastically, interacted with the public, and spread awareness about the responsible use of antibiotics. Informative leaflets on the appropriate use of antibiotics and prevention of AMR were also distributed.

World Pharmacovigilance Week was celebrated at Bharat Pharmaceutical Technology on 23 September 2026 with an awareness programme on the importance of drug safety. Informative videos on Pharmacovigilance were displayed to enhance awareness among students and faculty members. A special lecture was delivered by Mr. Sudipta Sarkar, Assistant Professor of the Institute, on the basic concepts of Pharmacovigilance and the proper procedure for filling out the ADR reporting form. Faculty members shared their valuable thoughts and experiences, highlighting the importance of adverse drug reaction reporting and patient safety. The students actively participated in the programme and shared their learnings and understanding of Pharmacovigilance.
