Today, a beautiful Varsha Mangal programme was celebrated in the open premises of Sachin Debbarman Memorial Government Music College with great enthusiasm and cultural fervour.
The programme was graced by the esteemed presence of our respected Principal, Dr. Monika Das, along with the dedicated faculty members, teachers and enthusiastic students of the college. The vibrant atmosphere came alive with music, dance and cultural presentations celebrating the beauty and spirit of the monsoon.
On the occasion of Rabindranath Tagore’s Death Anniversary (Prayan Dibas), a heartfelt Rabindra Smaran was also observed as a tribute to Gurudev and his timeless contribution to Bengali literature, music and culture.
As a meaningful extension of this tribute, a Tree Plantation Programme was organised, reflecting Tagore’s profound love for nature and his vision of harmony between human life and the environment.
It was truly a memorable and enriching day where music, remembrance, nature and culture came together in perfect harmony. 🌧️🌱🎶
A heartfelt tribute to Gurudev through music, memories and the planting of new life.
