🇮🇳 NSS Day Observance at TCEA 🇮🇳

The NSS Unit, Techno College of Engineering Agartala (TCEA) successfully observed NSS Day on 24th September 2026 at the Seminar Hall, TCEA, with enthusiastic participation from students, faculty members, NSS volunteers, and students from three schools.

The programme began with the Welcome Address by Dr. Dibakar Deb, Principal, TCEA.

Ayush Banik, 3rd Sem, CST — “NSS and the Spirit of Community Service”
Trisha Deb, 1st Sem, ETCE — “Youth Participation in Nation Building”
Sourav Shil, 1st Sem, AI&ML — “NSS: Developing Responsible Citizens”

Mohanpur Class 12 School

The programme also featured the NSS Song and NSS Clap, creating a spirit of unity, service, and volunteerism among the participants.

The programme concluded with a Vote of Thanks delivered by Dr. Partha Pratim Deb, Programme Officer, NSS Unit, TCEA, followed by the National Anthem.

Workshop on Atal Tinkering Lab

A workshop on Atal Tinkering Lab (ATL) was organized at the New Seminar Hall of Techno College of Engineering Agartala (TCEA) by the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), TCEA, and Admission Cell on the 28th of August.

The program was graced by Sri Tarit Kanti Chakma, IAS, Chief Guest and Chief Executive Officer, Tripura Rural Livelihood Mission (TRLM); Dr. Rita Roy, Scientist/Engineer-B, Tripura State Council for Science & Technology; and Mr. Philimon Jamatia, Guest of Honour and Joint Director, Directorate of Information & Technology, Government of Tripura.

More than 40 school teachers from different parts of Tripura participated in the workshop. The enthusiastic participation of teachers from across the state added great value to the programme.

The workshop focused on promoting innovation, creativity, problem-solving, design thinking and hands-on learning among school students through ATL activities. The participating teachers also gained insights into the effective utilization of ATL facilities, emerging technologies and innovative approaches for developing student projects.

The interactive sessions and discussions received an overwhelming response from the participants. Several teachers expressed their interest in visiting TCEA again with their students, while some schools also invited the TCEA team to conduct sessions on Atal Tinkering Lab activities and admission opportunities at their institutions.

The successful organization of the workshop was made possible through the guidance and support of Prof. (Dr.) Dibakar Deb, Principal, TCEA, along with the dedicated efforts of the IIC and Admission Cell teams.

The workshop served as a meaningful initiative towards strengthening innovation, technology-based education, and experiential learning at the school level.
