We are delighted to share that Dr. Ganesh Chandra, Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science & Engineering, Institute of Engineering & Technology (IET), Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar University, Agra, has published a research paper in Springer.

📚 Research Paper Title:
“Comparative Analysis of Machine Learning Classification Algorithms for Weather Prediction”

The research presents a comparative study of various Machine Learning classification algorithms for weather prediction, including J48, Random Forest, Support Vector Machine (SVM), Logistic Regression, Naïve Bayes and K-Nearest Neighbour (KNN). The study evaluates these approaches using parameters such as accuracy, precision, recall and F-measure.

The paper is published as part of Data Processing and Networking (ICDPN 2025) in Springer’s prestigious Lecture Notes in Networks and Systems (LNNS), Volume 2025, pages 477–493.

🤝 MoU Signed for Industry-Integrated Skill Development at IET Agra

A significant step towards strengthening industry–academia collaboration and enhancing employability of engineering students was taken at the Institute of Engineering & Technology (IET), Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar University, Agra.

IET Agra and Social Welfare and Development for Empowered Society (SWADES), Uttar Pradesh have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on 7 August 2026 for “Collaboration for Establishing Centres of Excellence (CoEs) and Launching Skill-Based Industry-Integrated Programmes for Engineering Students.”

The collaboration aims to facilitate:

🔹 NSQF-based training programmes for students
🔹 Industry exposure, internships and apprenticeships

डॉ. भीमराव आंबेडकर विश्वविद्यालय, आगरा के इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ इंजीनियरिंग एंड टेक्नोलॉजी (आईईटी) में अल्ट्राटेक सीमेंट लिमिटेड (आदित्य बिड़ला ग्रुप) द्वारा कैंपस प्लेसमेंट ड्राइव का सफल आयोजन किया गया। इसमें सिविल इंजीनियरिंग एवं एमबीए (सेल्स) के विद्यार्थियों ने भाग लिया।

A one-day workshop on Drone Development and Prototyping was successfully organized on 04 April 2026 by the Circuit Master Club of IIC, Institute of Engineering and Technology (IET), Khandari, Agra.

The primary objective of the workshop was to empower students with knowledge of modern drone technology, focusing on emerging applications and hands-on prototyping. The session provided participants with practical exposure and insights into real-world innovations in the UAV ecosystem.
