Understanding & Experiencing Indian Classical Dance ✨

Dance is not only movement. It is rhythm, awareness, expression, balance and the ability to communicate through the body with sensitivity and grace.

This 8-day orientation & exploration workshop is designed for those who wish to begin their journey into the world of Indian Classical Dance with clarity, discipline and artistic understanding.

Through guided practice, observation and interactive sessions, participants will explore:
• Body awareness & conditioning
• Rhythm, posture & movement flow
• Basic Adavus and coordination
• Hasta, Drishti & expression
• Grace, discipline and artistic presence
• The beauty and essence of Bharatanatyam

No prior dance training is required.

Music is not only something we hear. It is something we gradually learn to feel, observe, understand and experience.

This 8-day orientation & exploration workshop is designed for those who wish to begin their journey into the world of Indian Classical Music with clarity, sensitivity and openness.

Through listening, interaction, demonstration and guided understanding, participants will explore:
• Sur, Laya & Raag
• Listening awareness & musical sensitivity
• Dhrupad, Khayal, Thumri, Ghazal & Sugam Sangeet
• Bhaav and expression in music
• The artistic and emotional dimensions of musical practice

No prior musical knowledge is required.
