આજે ગુજરાત યુનિવર્સિટીના વાઇસ ચાન્સેલર ડૉ.હિમાંશુભાઈ પંડ્યા તથા પ્રો. વાઇસ ચાન્સેલર ડૉ.જગદીશભાઈ ભાવસાર ની ઉપસ્થિતિમાં તા 27 જાન્યુઆરીના રોજ યોજાયેલ "રન વિથ સોલ્જર" મેરેથોનમાં કાર્યરત રહેલા વોલાન્ટિઅર્સને પ્રમાણપત્ર વિતરણ કરવામાં આવ્યું.

We would like to thank all the runners for the incredible response. Owing to the unintentional misdirection of some 10 km runners, which resulted in them finishing 7.5km at the finish line, we have introduced a new race distance category of 7.5km.

We will soon declare the winners of 21km, 10km and 7.5km (All eligible for prize money)

We are thankful to all the runners & volunteers for making marathon a grand success.

The marathon was organised by Gujarat Univeristy and managed by Gujarat University Alumni Association and it was flagged off by Ahmedabad Mayor Smt. Bijalben Patel, Vice Chancellor of Gujarat University Dr. Himanshu Pandya, Commissioner of Police -Ahmedabad Shri A.K.Singh, President BJP Gujarat Youthwing Dr. Rutvij Patel and Senate-Syndicate members of Gujarat University.

Mandatory Guidelines:

Only people with registered BIB are allowed to enter holding area
Please park only at places allotted for parking
With limited parking space, runners are requested to opt for car pool, to avoid parking hassle at parking area
Runners are advised not to carry bags or valuable items
Medical facilities will be made available at the event venue
Toilet facilities at the race venue and along the route at various points
Adequate water station along the route
Holding area: GMDC ground
As we got huge participants, we request runners to move slow in beginning and do not pull each other and take care of safety first, event is meant for fitness and fun, so please make sure you do not get hurt or hurt anyone.
