We are proud to share that our innovative research, undertaken at L.J. Institute of Pharmacy, LJK University, has received prominent newspaper coverage (in Gujarat samachar) today
Our postgraduate student, Madhav Raja, has successfully developed an indigenous nanomedicine based formulation for breast cancer treatment. The biodegradable polymeric nanoparticles are designed to deliver Docetaxel and Hesperidin together in a controlled and sustained manner.
Laboratory studies have shown encouraging results, including improved drug encapsulation, prolonged drug release and enhanced anticancer activity against breast cancer cells. Subject to further clinical studies, this formulation may help improve treatment effectiveness while potentially reducing damage to healthy cells and some adverse effects associated with conventional chemotherapy.
This achievement reflects the ability of our postgraduate students to translate scientific knowledge into meaningful, patient oriented innovation. We congratulate the student and mentors on this promising contribution to indigenous pharmaceutical research.
