At Anant, innovation goes beyond the classroom. Through Aarambh Incubation Centre, students receive mentorship, incubation support and access to funding that empower them to transform promising ideas into impactful ventures.

The 6th edition of the Idea Contest, supported by the Student Startup Innovation Policy, GOG, and Anant National University, was one such opportunity where 16 grants were awarded to innovative ideas.

Watch Sanket Panchal, Assistant Professor, School of Architecture, talk about their venture - Bridging the communication gap in interior design: A tech-driven ex*****on management system.

The venture is a mobile-based application designed to facilitate seamless collaboration among architects and interior designers, clients, and contractors.

Mentored by Prof Meghna Sutaria, the venture received a grant of Rs 2,00,000.

The 6th-semester Space Design students, including Preet Gorane, Dwishaa Rajyaguru, Anushka Makani, Sunil Makad, Parth Mundra and Vanshika Raisa, completed the renovation of the Vijayi Bharat Foundation's High Performance Centre at the Sanskardham Campus as part of a live-action design elective.

Led by Prof Nirali Parekh, Assistant Professor, and Prof Kavita Pradhan, Assistant Professor, School of Design, the team designed the spatial identity of the Centre through interventions including a striking Wall of Fame, dynamic para-athlete installations, branded panels and a signature brick feature wall.

At Anant, learning extends beyond studios and classrooms into the real world. Through live projects, students collaborate with clients, tackle real design challenges and experience every stage of the design process.

At Anant, we are committed to creating meaningful career opportunities for our students by building strong and purposeful industry relationships. Industry interactions on campus are an important part of this effort.

As we kicked off the Monsoon Semester, the Maruti Suzuki Design and Talent Acquisition team visited Anant for an engaging industry interaction.

The delegation included Mr Ashish K Jayaswal, Vice President, Maruti Suzuki Design; Ms Akanksha Pandey, Manager, Design; Ms Kirti Lakhera, Strategy Designer; and Mr Abhishek, Deputy Manager, Talent Acquisition MSIL.

The delegation interacted with Dr Sanjeev Vidyarthi, Provost, and faculty leads, explored our design labs and academic infrastructure, and gained insights into our design ecosystem and student capabilities.

Our student representatives also shared their learning journeys, projects, interdisciplinary experiences and industry engagements, offering an authentic perspective on the Anant experience.

The interaction also explored opportunities for student engagement, live projects, industry exposure, talent development and future career opportunities, bringing the classroom closer to the world of work.

For the Career Services Office, such engagements are an important part of our effort to build deeper and more purposeful industry relationships, bringing the classroom closer to the realities of the workplace and creating meaningful opportunities for our students.

Anant 6th-semester Product Design students Rutuja Ladkat and Roopshree Sancheti designed โ€˜Smritiโ€™, a toy for the elderly and neurodivergent users that won the Third Prize at the TOYNOVA 2026 Innovation Challenge.

Dr Sanjeev Vidyarthi, Provost, Anant National University, was recently featured in The Economic Times Education, where he shared his perspective on why Indiaโ€™s green future depends on design, innovation and interdisciplinary thinking.

He highlights the need to move beyond conventional approaches and equip professionals to work across disciplines, think in systems and develop solutions to increasingly complex environmental challenges.
