• Educational Qualification: BE/B.Tech/ME/M.Tech in Mechanical/Automobile Engineering
• Preferable:
o Practically very sound, capable of implementing industrial approach
o A proven record of excellence in teaching and/or industry experience
o Advantage will be given to candidates who have worked on industry projects
o Advantage will be given to candidates who have taken MOOC courses
o Compatibility with online teaching resources
o Ability to contribute through research
o Self driven and result-oriented with a positive outlook
o Clear focus on high quality teaching
o Keen to take up new experience, responsibility and accountability
2) Assistant Professors for CE/IT in Mathematics
• Educational Qualification: BE/B.Tech/ME/M.Tech in CE/IT/ICT or Phd Maths(Completed/Pursuing)

o Knowledge of Algorithms
o Able to implement statistical concepts in R/Python programming

3) Assistant Professors for CE/IT in Physics

o Must be able to demonstrate concepts through practical implementation
o Compatibility with online teaching resources

4) Assistant Professors for CE/IT in Programming / Data Structure / Algorithms / DS-ML

o Basic Knowledge of Full Stack Development or Basic Implementation idea in Data Science / Machine Learning

• Roles and responsibilities:
o To engage in the development and delivery of the undergraduate and postgraduate curricula
Design and deliver teaching material across a range of modules or within a subject area using appropriate teaching, learning support and assessment methods.
Supervise student projects, field trips and, where appropriate, placements.
Contribute to the planning, design and development of objectives and material.
Set, mark and assess work and examinations and provide feedback to students.
o To obtain research funding and provide high quality outputs and publications in related disciplines
Identify sources of funding and contribute to the process of securing funds.
Write or contribute to publications or disseminate research findings using other appropriate media.
Make presentations at conferences or exhibit work at other appropriate events.
o To support and mentor postgraduate research students in the development of their research careers
Develop research objectives, projects and proposals.
Conduct individual or collaborative research projects.
o To play an active role in the life of the Department, by supporting activities around research, teaching, enterprise, student experience and widening participation.
o Advise and support colleagues with less experience and advise on personal development.
o May be expected to supervise the work of others, for example, research teams or projects or as PhD supervisor.
o Act as a responsible team member and develop productive working relationships with other members of the team.
o Collaborate with colleagues to identify and respond to students’ needs.
o Act as programme leader/course leader/module leader.
o Comply with Institute regulations, policies and procedures.
