In the summer of 2002, 4 Final year students of Nirma University saw an advertisement on TV, which invited Colleges to participate in a "National Robotic Contest" and the winners gets to represent India at "Asia Pacific Robot Contest". Team Nirma was born, we took small baby steps and have reached a level which no other college in India has been able to achieve. We have carried the Indian Flag 9 times .

Proud moment for Team Nirma Robocon.🎉🎉
International Robocon 2021 was hosted by China through online mode on December 12, 2021 wherein the Team Nirma Robocon secured 7th rank out of 21 teams from different countries and also won Nagase Award for excellence. The winner of the international Robocon 2021 was Indonesia they completed the full game in 40 seconds while Team Nirma completed the full game in 45 seconds.

Heartiest congratulations to everyone who took part in the Robocon this year amid rapidly changing Covid-19 rules and regulations.
Some teams might have faced a lockdown kind of situation partially or fully. Everyone competed with the best resources they had and played with the true spirit. Figuring out the way in the middle of such hurdles is the real learning lesson from Robocon and we are happy that everyone tried their best. we wish you all the best for the next year.

Yes, Nirma secured the First Rank in the national Robocon with the theme completion time of 54 sec.
