*Pharma Anveshan Bharat 2026* | Celebrating Innovation. Inspiring the Future.
A *landmark national initiative by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) in association with L. M. College of Pharmacy (LMCP)*, Ahmedabad, Pharma Anveshan Bharat 2026 successfully brought together the brightest minds in pharmacy to celebrate innovation, research, entrepreneurship, and industry collaboration.
Event Highlights
πΉ 124 outstanding innovators from 25 premier pharmacy institutions, representing 21 States & Union Territories
πΉ Participants travelled from 14 States & UTs, making the event a truly national platform for pharmaceutical innovation.
πΉ 32 Granted Patents showcased breakthrough technologies.
πΉ 25 Granted Designs & Models demonstrated creativity and product innovation.
πΉ 67 Academic Research Projects with Industry Potential reflected the next generation of translational pharmaceutical research.
A *distinguished panel of 30 senior industry and academic experts representing Vice President, General Manager, Associate General Manager, and other leadership positions evaluated the innovations*. The panel included experts from Zydus, Cadila Pharmaceuticals, Intas Pharmaceuticals, Baxter, Orbit Pharmaceuticals, Amneal Pharmaceuticals, o2h Discovery, along with eminent scientists from NIPER and National Forensic Sciences University (NFSU). Beyond evaluation, they mentored participants with valuable scientific, industrial, and commercialization insights.
The event was *inaugurated by Dr. Montukumar M. Patel, President, Pharmacy Council of India, and Dr. Viranchi Shah, Managing Director, Saga Laboratories*, who inspired participants with their vision for the future of pharmacy education, innovation, and the pharmaceutical industry.
The *valedictory ceremony was graced by Shri Jitubhai Patel, Founder & President, Daffodil Pharmachem, and Dr. Sanjeev Kumar, President, Zydus Biologica Division*, whose inspiring entrepreneurial journeys motivated young innovators to dream bigger and pursue excellence.
Outstanding innovators across all three competition tracks were honoured with prestigious prizes (Rs. 21000/-, 11,000/-, 5000/-), trophies, certificates, and national recognition for their exceptional contributions to pharmaceutical innovation and research. The awards celebrated excellence in Granted Patents, Granted Designs & Models, and Academic Research with Industry Potential, recognizing ideas capable of transforming healthcare and creating meaningful societal impact.

Over three memorable days, LMCP proudly hosted nearly 150 delegates from across India, showcasing not only academic excellence but also its rich legacy of hospitality, professionalism, and institutional leadership.
Pharma Anveshan Bharat 2026 was more than a competitionβit was a national movement to connect young innovators with industry leaders, researchers, regulators, patent experts, and entrepreneurs, paving the way for future collaborations, technology transfer, start-ups, and healthcare innovations.
