From welcoming international delegates and supporting coordination to assisting with communication, meetings and event management, our young volunteers played a vital role in making the Summit smooth and memorable. 🤝🌏

🎤 GTU INTER-COLLEGE ELOCUTION COMPETITION 2026

Gujarat Technological University (GTU) successfully organized the Inter-College Elocution Competition-2026 on 18.08.2026, witnessing enthusiastic participation from students representing various colleges.

👥 A total of 33 students from various colleges participated in the competition and expressed their thoughts, ideas, and vision.

👏 Heartiest congratulations to all the participants and winner for their enthusiastic participation and inspiring presentations!

🏆 GTU SPIRIT 2026–27 | ZONE-1 SPORTS COMPETITIONS 🏆

Gujarat Technological University (GTU) successfully organized the Zone-Level Inter-College Sports Competitions for Zone-1, with enthusiastic participation from students across various colleges. The competitions showcased excellent sportsmanship, teamwork, and competitive spirit.

🏸 Zone-1 Chess Competition – 11.08.2026
A total of 74 players from 16 colleges participated, including 56 Boys and 18 Girls.

🥇 Boys: Winner – LD Engineering College | Runner-up – AIT, Ahmedabad
🥇 Girls: Winner – LD Engineering College | Runner-up – GTU-SET

🏐 Zone-1 Volleyball Competition – 14.08.2026 & 19.08.2026
A total of 288 players from 24 colleges participated, including 192 Boys and 96 Girls.

🥇 Boys: Winner – LD Engineering College | Runner-up – AIT, Ahmedabad
🥇 Girls: Winner – LD Engineering College | Runner-up – LMCP, Ahmedabad

🤼 Zone-1 Kabaddi Competition – 18.08.2026
A total of 228 players from 19 colleges participated, including 192 Boys and 36 Girls.

🥇 Boys: Winner – LD Engineering College | Runner-up – SAL, Ahmedabad
🥇 Girls: Winner – LD Engineering College | Runner-up – SAL, Ahmedabad

🏍️🚦 Building Safer Roads, One Step at a Time!

GTU successfully organized a Road Safety Awareness Programme in collaboration with Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt. Ltd. and Value LIFE Foundation at the GTU Campus.

Organized by the Sports, Cultural, NSS & NCC Departments with the support of GTU Campus PG Schools, the programme aimed to promote responsible riding, raise awareness about traffic rules, and encourage safer roads for everyone.

Through engaging theory sessions and live on-road demonstrations, students, faculty, and staff gained practical insights into safe riding practices. Their enthusiastic participation made the event a meaningful step towards building a stronger culture of road safety.
