Missionary Training College, Aizawl MTC is a centre for missionary training and mission studies under the Synod Mission Board (Mizoram) The following are the course content of B. Miss.

At the moment, Missionary Training College is providing different programmes such as Bachelor of Missiology (3 years course), Missionary Short Course (3 months), Refreshers Course for in-service missionaries (1 month), Orientation Course for Missionary Pastors (1 week). studies:
Bible and Mission (4 papers)
Theology and Mission (3 papers)
History, Mission and Intercultural studies(12 papers)

tian Ministry and Communication( 3 papers)
Religion and Mission (2 papers)
Field Work and Project (20 credits)

The candidate should either finsh 36 papers without thesis. Every candidate is required to take English as non-credit paper. The course is taught in English. MTC CELEBRATES THE 77th INDIA REPUBLIC DAY

Missionary Training College celebrates the 77th Republic Day of India on the 26th January, 2026 at the MTC Courtyard.

Accepting our humble request, our Chief Guest of the occasion, Shri B. Lalchhanzova, Minister of State - Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, etc. Govt. of Mizoram hoisted the national flag and addressed the MTC community.

The programme was led by Rev. Lalfakzuala, Principal, MTC. Prayer for the Nation was led by Mrs. Vanlalṭhiani. And the programme was concluded with benediction by Rev. H. Vanlalhriata

The programme was attended by the faculty and staff of the MTC, B. Miss students, 27th Batch Short Course Missionary Trainees.

MTC feels really privileged and blessed to be able to have such a personality as our Chief Guest in such an auspicious occasion of our Republic India.

25th BATCH SCMT GRADUATION CUM FAREWELL

Farewell Service for the 25th Short Course Missionary Training (SCMT) was held on 18th August, 2025 (Monday) at MTC Chapel.

The service was chaired by the Principal Rev. Dr. C. Lalramchhana. Rev. Dr. Rosiamliana Tochhawng, Executive Secretary i/c Mission, Mizoram Synod graced the meeting with his challenging farewell message. Apart from the MTC community members, the service was also enriched by the presence of invited representatives of 10 local churches and singer Mr. Vanlalsailova with his beautiful voice.

The programme also includes farewell speeches from both sides, presentation of certificates to the trainees, prayer for the missionary trainees and announcement of results. Miss Vanlalnghaki was declared to be the Best Trainee.

BIBLE DISTRIBUTION SERVICE, 2025

The Bible Society of India, Aizawl Auxiliary represented by Rev. Remlalfaka, the Auxiliary Secretary and some staffs distributed the NRSV Bibles to the First Year B. Miss students and Faculty members to the Missionary Training College, Aizawl on the 30th July, 2025.

The service was chaired by Rev. Dr. C. Lalramchhana, Prinicpal, MTC. Rev. Remlalfaka distributed the Bible to the students.

The College is immensely grateful to the BSI for its generous acts and hopes that our students will be spiritually and academically enriched and empowered through this generous acts of the BSI.

79th INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION 2025

Aizawl, August 15, 2025: MTC celebrated the 79th India Independence Day at the college courtyard. The Chief Guest Upa Lalṭanpuia, Director, Higher & Technical Education, Govt. of Mizoram hoisted the national flag and gave a challenging and inspiring Independence Day address.

The celebration, led by the Principal, Rev. Dr. C. Lalramchhana. National Anthem was sang by Students, SCMT Trainees and MTC Staffs. Prayer for the nation was conducted by Mrs. Lalrinchhani Ralte, Assistant Professor, a concluding benediction by Rev. Lalfakawma, Chaplain and distribution of sweets to those assembled were taken by Final year B. Miss female students.

Missionary Training College invites interest applicant for Bachelor of Missiology ( B. Miss )for the upcoming year, (2025 - 2026):

B. Miss : Three Years Course Required qualification: Cl - XII and above.

Entrance Test: March 18, 2025 at 9:30 AM. (Tuesday) @ MTC

Interview by MTC Governing Board: March 20, 2025 at 10:30 AM. Thursday @ Synod Committee Room 1

Application form for B. Miss Course and the College Prospectus could be obtained from MTC office on payment of Rs. 50/. Duly filled in form must be submitted to the MTC office on or before February 14, 2025 (Friday). Those who obtain application form from College Website (www.mtc.edu.in) should pay the amount at the time of submission of application form.
