The Five Day Instructional Course is an annual training program in Colon & Rectal surgery conducted by the Association of Colon & Rectal Surgeons of India (ACRSI). The course provides training in the management of diseases affecting the Colon, Rectum and Anal Canal, and comprehensively covers relevant Anatomy, Physiology, Pathology, Radiology, Pharmacotherapy, and Medical and Surgical Management.
It consists of lectures, operative videos and interactive session for each topic. Also included in the course is a hands on training session in Colo-Rectal and Colo-Anal stapling techniques. Experts in the field of Colo-Rectal surgery will be the course faculty. The Fellowship Course will be followed by the Fellowship examination which will be held on the 8th and 9th of April, 2017.
