Exploring History Through Experiential Learning

Grade 7 students visited St. Anselm’s Church in Ajmer, transforming a classroom lesson into an engaging exploration of the region’s cultural and historical heritage.

During the visit, students examined the church’s architecture, interiors, and historical features while learning about its significance. This experience demonstrated how places of worship and heritage buildings preserve a community's traditions, beliefs, architectural styles, and social history.

Through attentive listening, observation, and active engagement, students extended their learning beyond textbooks and connected historical knowledge to real-world contexts.

The visit fostered respect for diverse cultures and traditions and reinforced the importance of preserving shared heritage for future generations.

IN LOVING MEMORY OF SIDHANGANA

We are deeply saddened as Mayo College Girls’ School bids farewell to Sidhangana Kumari (Batch of 2024), a valued member of our Mayo family.

We will always remember Sidhangana for her courage, strength, and spirit. Even though her time with us was short, the memories she made and the people she touched will stay with us always.

During this difficult time, we support her family and loved ones and keep them in our thoughts and prayers. We hope they find comfort in the love around them and in the memories Sidhangana leaves behind.

Once a Mayo girl, always part of the Mayo family.
We will always keep her memory in our hearts.
