Utkarsh Jadon of Raja Mahendra Pratap Singh AMU City School has secured the top position in the Secondary School Certificate (Part-II), Class X Board Examination 2026 conducted by Aligarh Muslim University. He scored an outstanding 497 out of 500 marks in the results declared by the Controller of Examinations on Friday.
Anushka Sharma of AMU Girls School secured the second position with 494 marks, while the third position is jointly held by Kulsoom Haider and Zubia Ahmad, both of AMU Girls School, with 493 marks each.
The fourth position is shared by Arshiya Khan of AMU Girls School and Sachin Rana of STS School, both scoring 492 marks. Pakhi Arya and Sheikh Safwa Nomani, both from AMU Girls School, secured the fifth position with 491 marks each.
Notably, girl students have delivered an exceptional performance, securing a majority of the top positions in the merit list.
The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Naima Khatoon, congratulated the meritorious students, commending their hard work and exemplary achievement. She also extended her best wishes for their continued success in future academic pursuits.
Pro-Vice Chancellor, Prof. Mohd. Mohsin Khan also congratulated the students for their commendable results, hard work and perseverance.
Controller of Examinations, Dr. Mujib Ullah Zuberi, while congratulating the students, informed that 1,392 candidates appeared for the examination, out of which 1,299 students successfully passed.
Director, Directorate of School Education, Prof. Qudsia Tehseen, also congratulated the students and appreciated the dedicated efforts of the teachers of AMU Schools for their continued commitment and support in achieving excellent academic outcomes.
