NYU Professor Sonjaya Singh Gaur Appointed Mentor at IIHMF

Innovation and Incubation Hub MNNIT Foundation (IIHMF) appointed Prof Sonjaya Singh Gaur of New York University (NYU), USA, as its mentor during a special World Entrepreneurs’ Day interaction in Prayagraj. IIHMF Director Prof Ravi Prakash Tewari said Prof Gaur’s international experience in marketing, business strategy and academia would strengthen the startup ecosystem and help emerging entrepreneurs develop sustainable business models, understand markets, build strong brands and explore global opportunities.

Addressing students, founders and entrepreneurs, Prof Gaur stressed that businesses must serve society to remain relevant and sustainable, urging startups to identify genuine social needs and create meaningful solutions. He highlighted opportunities in healthcare, education, agriculture, employment, technology and environmental sustainability, while sharing insights on marketing, leadership, branding, financial discipline and scalability. IIHMF CEO Dr Ram Kumar Mishra said his mentorship would help startups improve market acceptance, strengthen strategies and create measurable social impact. Prof Gaur was formally felicitated as mentor, with students, faculty, entrepreneurs, innovators and IIHMF representatives attending the programme.
