Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology (MNNIT) Allahabad successfully conducted the first Student Community Day (SCD), organized by AWS Cloud Club MNNIT, under the Department of Computer Science & Engineering. This event brought together students from multiple engineering colleges along with esteemed speakers in the field of cloud and AI for a day of workshops, talks, hackathon finale and networking sessions. The event was graced with the presence of Prof. RS Verma, Director, MNNIT Allahabad, Prof. M.M. Gore, and Prof. Mayank Pandey, Head of Department, Computer Science & Engineering, along with Dr. Sarsij Tripathi, Dr. Shashank Shrivastava, Dr. Ranvijay Singh, and Dr. Ashish Kumar Maurya.
The day began with the lighting of lamp and Saraswati Vandana. It was followed by a Student Note delivered by Kanishk Agrawal, Founder and Cloud Captain of AWS Cloud Club MNNIT.
The students present at the event were offered valuable insights and guidance by the speakers- Vraj Chaubal, Harshil Raj, Yash Sagar Santani and Sagar Shah, all of whom are excelling in the field of cloud and AI.
The networking lunch was followed by the pitching session and the announcement of the top two teams of the OPS 48 Hackathon, which had been held online a month prior.
The event concluded with closing remarks from the speakers and faculty, Faculty Note by Prof. Mayank Pandey, Head of Department and Dr. Sarsij Tripathi, Faculty Club In-Charge, followed by the Vote of Thanks by Anurag Ranjan, Student Representative.
