Makar Sankranti commemorates the start of the Sun's journey northward, also known as Uttarayan. The cold begins to fade, and the days begin to brighten. It marks the onset of a new phase of the year as well as the commencement of the national harvest season, which is known by various names such as Pongal, Magh Bihu, and simply Sankranti.
As the day begins to warm up and the chirping of birds and kites begin to embellish the skies, let us come together and celebrate it with devotion, fervor, and vivacity.

Among the different viewpoints, about celebrating Diwali, the widely accepted belief states that Diwali commemorates the return of Lord Rama from his fourteen-year-long exile and vanquishing of the demon-king Ravana.

The Ramayana is divided into 7 Kandas or chapters. To be an entrepreneur or to become one requires a lifetime commitment to learning.
Let's learn one of the kandas of management through Ramayana.

ACTION: When Sita saw the beautiful deer, not realizing that it was Maricha the demon, she demanded Rama get it for her. Ram, even though realizing that something was amiss, went to chase it to please Sita.

OUTCOME: Ram reacted instead of responding and was led astray, leaving his home front unguarded. Reckless acts have dire consequences.

TAKEAWAY: When working with unknown variables, don't take risks without complete data. Take time to swot up a situation.
