Guntur is a district in the coastal area of Andhra Pradesh, where the seed of residential set-up in private sector was first sown. In 1970’s and 80’s as students from all parts of the state flooded the town, the residential schools and colleges boomed. To set up at such circumstances, a similar one for the rural background students with the aim to provide good quality modern education and to keep
it abreast of them was a stupendous task carried out by the Principals and Staff of the Vidyalaya. The Vidyalaya is situated on 30 ACRES OF LAND NEAR Maddirala Village, 8 km away from chilakaluripet town, which in turn is 40 km away from the district head quarters. The school started functioning in the buildings of Sri Sadineni Chowdaraiah College provided by donor Sri Sadineni Chowdariah.
