*Hiring: Procurement Engineer – Instrumentation* in my team
*Experience*: 4 to 6 years
*Location*: Thermax Environment House Bhosari Pune.
*Role Overview*
We’re looking for a Procurement Engineer to handle the Instrumentation package for projects. You’ll own end-to-end procurement for process instruments and ensure cost, quality, and delivery compliance.
*Key Responsibilities*
- Source and procure instrumentation items: PT, TT, DPT, Gauges, CEMs packages & other electrical packages like MCC , PDB's, Cables & cable trays
- Float enquiries, techno-commercial evaluations, and vendor negotiations
- Coordinate with Engineering, QA/QC, and Projects for technical compliance
- Vendor development and rate contract finalization for instruments
- Ensure on-time delivery to meet project schedules
- Handle inspections, documentation, and ERP entries
*Required Skills*
- 4–6 years in procurement of process instruments for EPC/industrial projects
- Strong knowledge of PT, TT, DPT, pressure/temperature gauges, CEMs systems
- Familiar with vendor base and market rates for instrumentation
- Negotiation, vendor management, and contract handling
- Oracle/ SAP or similar ERP experience would add advnatage
*Qualification*: BE/B.Tech – Instrumentation / Electrical
