Grateful to have been a part of the National FDP on "Multidisciplinary Applications of Semiconductor Technologies using EDA Tools” on 23rd April 2026 ✨

Organized by the Electronics and Communication Engineering Department in association with the Department of Mechanical and Computer Engineering, A D Patel Institute of Technology, The Charutar Vidya Mandal (CVM) University.

It was truly a wonderful and enriching experience exploring the foundry and cleanroom facilities, and gaining insights into chip manufacturing processes, sensor design, and IC packaging of advanced systems including satellite antennas, NavIC, filters, and signal processing modules 🚀
Witnessing these cutting-edge technologies firsthand has been both inspiring and intellectually rewarding.

The first day of the National FDP on Multidisciplinary Applications of Semiconductor Technologies using EDA Tools concluded successfully with insightful sessions on Semiconductor Foundations & Cross-Domain Relevance.

Mr. Jayesh Munjani, Physical Design Engineer at eInfochips
• Overview of the semiconductor ecosystem and India’s Semiconductor Mission
• Semiconductor devices (Diode, BJT, MOSFET)
• Sensor technologies across engineering domains
• Hands-on introduction to TCAD and device simulation

We are pleased to announce the successful inauguration of the National Faculty Development Program (FDP) on “Multidisciplinary Applications of Semiconductor Technologies using EDA Tools”, organized by the Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering, A. D. Patel Institute of Technology (ADIT), CVM University.
This FDP aims to provide comprehensive exposure to the semiconductor ecosystem, covering topics from device fundamentals to advanced VLSI design using industry-standard EDA tools.

The inauguration ceremony was graced by distinguished academicians and dignitaries, marking the beginning of a knowledge-rich and industry-oriented learning experience.

A. D. Patel Institute of Technology (ADIT), CVM University, is organizing a dynamic and enriching “Skill Development Boot Camp 2026” from 11th May 2026 to 23rd May 2026 at the ADIT campus, specially designed for students who have recently completed 10th, 11th, or 12th standard to provide early exposure to engineering, technology, and innovation-driven domains.

The program features a wide range of hands-on learning modules including Next-Generation AI Tools, Interactive Web Design, Embedded Systems, Rapid Prototyping, Civil Engineering Concepts, Electrical Safety Awareness, Automobile Engineering Insights, Innovation through IDEA Lab, Ice Cream Making Workshop (fun learning activity), Mathematics-based Models and Puzzles, Superconductivity Demonstration (Meissner Effect), and Food Label Awareness.

Participants will gain valuable insights through expert guidance, interactive sessions, and practical exposure across multidisciplinary fields, helping ignite curiosity, strengthen technical understanding, and inspire future careers in engineering and science.

The boot camp is organized under the guidance of Dr. Vishal Singh, Principal, ADIT, with support from faculty coordinators. The registration fee is ₹500, last date to register is 5th May 2026, and participants will receive a certificate upon successful completion, making this boot camp an excellent platform for students to explore, learn, and innovate as they take their first step toward a promising future in technology and engineering. Interested students are encouraged to register at the earliest by scanning the QR code provided in the event brochure.

We are delighted to share that Dr. Ankanksha Kumari, Assistant Professor, Department of Food Processing Technology, has received project approval from the Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF) under the Prime Minister Early Career Research Grant Scheme.
Her research focuses on millet fortification and the reduction of antinutritional factors, aiming to enhance the nutritional quality of millets and support healthier diets. Through innovative food processing techniques, the project will help improve nutrient bioavailability, product quality, shelf life, and the development of value-added food products, contributing to better nutrition and sustainable food systems.
