From Rocks to Records

The Department of Botany organised “From Rocks to Records”, an initiative encouraging students to collect, identify, and preserve fossil specimens and traditional artefacts. The programme marks a meaningful step towards establishing a Botanical Museum.

The event was attended by the Principal as Patron, faculty members of the Departments of Botany and Zoology, and Guest Speaker Dr. Hamza Rouf Boda.

A step towards learning, documentation, and preservation of our natural and cultural heritage.

🇮🇳 Tiranga Rally at GDC Dooru 🇮🇳

Government Degree College Dooru organized a vibrant Tiranga Rally today as part of the celebrations marking Independence Day 2026. 🇮🇳

Organized by NSS, GDC Dooru, in collaboration with the Directorate of Physical Education, the rally witnessed enthusiastic participation from the Principal, faculty members, teaching and non-teaching staff, NSS volunteers, and students.

The rally echoed the spirit of patriotism, unity and national pride across the college campus. 🇮🇳✨
