Alliance University has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding with Bharath Lighthouse Software Solutions Pvt. Ltd., marking a step towards deeper industry-academia collaboration in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Vision and Intelligent Systems.

The MoU was exchanged during the Kompact AI Launch at the Bangalore International Centre, Bengaluru, and will enable opportunities in joint research, student internships, industry projects, technology innovation, knowledge exchange and the development of AI-driven solutions for real-world challenges.

Representing Alliance University were Dr. Chandrashekhar K. E., Dr. Shekhar R., Dr. Oswalt Manoj, Dr. Chetan Shelke and Dr. Virendra Kumar Shrivastava. Bharath Lighthouse Software Solutions Pvt. Ltd. was represented by Mr. Mohan Kumar K. R., Founder & CEO, along with his team.

Kannada Sangha, Alliance University, organised a Special Lecture on “Our Focus Towards Humanity”, encouraging students to reflect on empathy, selflessness, compassion and social responsibility.

The session was graced by Dr. N. R. Lalithamba, Eminent Kannada Professor and Epigraphist, who spoke about the importance of humane values and selfless service in building a more caring society. Faculty members and students also shared reflections on the need to turn awareness into meaningful action.

The lecture further highlighted the role of Kannada language and literature in nurturing empathy, human values and social consciousness, while also recognising students who participated in the Kannada Book/Story/Movie Review Competition.
A thoughtful engagement that encouraged participants to reflect, empathise and contribute towards a more humane society.

You Matter: Su***de Awareness & Prevention Session

Every conversation that builds awareness, every moment of empathy, and every reminder that support is available can make a meaningful difference.

In continuation of World Su***de Prevention Day, the Centre for Counselling & Health Services (CCHS), in collaboration with YourDOST, conducted an interactive session on “You Matter: Su***de Awareness & Prevention” at Alliance University.
Facilitated by Ms. Krishnendu Ashok, Psychologist & Positive Psychology Practitioner, the session encouraged students to recognise signs of emotional distress in themselves and others, understand common myths and misconceptions, and learn how to respond with empathy and care.

Drawing on Positive Psychology, Mindfulness Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Art Therapy, the session highlighted the importance of timely support, professional intervention, and open conversations around emotional well-being.

The session reinforced a simple yet powerful message:
You matter. Your feelings matter. Reaching out for support matters.

Through CCHS, Alliance University continues to foster a campus environment where students feel heard, valued, and supported.

Kannada Sangha, Alliance University, hosted a Special Lecture on Folklore and Cultural Heritage, bringing attention to the importance of preserving traditional knowledge, folk arts, customs, stories, music and intangible cultural heritage.

The session was graced by Dr. Ravi U. M., who reflected on the continuing relevance of folklore in the digital age and the need to document and preserve cultural traditions for future generations. His personal reflections and rendition of a folk song added a meaningful cultural dimension to the programme.

With a special focus on the rich folk traditions of Karnataka, the lecture encouraged students to see folklore as a living expression of collective memory, cultural identity and community values.

The Class of 2027 stepped into a more realistic recruitment setting through Mock GDPI sessions focused on communication, confidence, and interview readiness.

Over 60 corporate mentors engaged with MBA students, while B.A. LL.B. (Hons.), B.B.A. LL.B. (Hons.), and LL.B. students also participated in dedicated sessions, gaining a clearer understanding of industry expectations and professional interactions.

The Alliance Annual Alumni Meet 2026 brought our alumni community back together for an evening of connection, conversations, and shared memories.

As part of the celebrations, CXO Meet 2026 created a platform for alumni, industry leaders, and students to exchange perspectives, share experiences, and build meaningful professional connections.

From classroom learning to the frontiers of space innovation. 🚀

Students from the Department of Aerospace Engineering, Alliance University, visited the Bengaluru Space Expo 2026 (BSX 2026) at BIEC, gaining valuable exposure to advancements in launch vehicles, satellite systems, propulsion, space communication, remote sensing, aerospace testing, and emerging technologies.

The visit also enabled students to interact with professionals from leading organisations across India’s growing space ecosystem, helping them better understand real-world engineering applications, career pathways, internships, and evolving industry requirements.

A special highlight was an inspiring interaction with Capt. Sunita L. Williams, United States Navy (Ret.), whose journey and insights encouraged students to pursue innovation, perseverance, technical excellence, and continuous learning.

The visit offered a meaningful opportunity to connect academic concepts with industry practice and experience the rapidly evolving landscape of aerospace and space technology.
