माननीय प्र-कुलगुरू डॉ. अखिलेश पेशवे यांनी स्वीकारला पदभार

राष्ट्रसंत तुकडोजी महाराज नागपूर विद्यापीठाचे प्र-कुलगुरू म्हणून डॉ. अखिलेश वसंतराव पेशवे यांनी गुरुवार, दिनांक २१ मे २०२६ रोजी पदभार स्वीकारला. प्र-कुलगुरू नियुक्ती झाल्याने डॉ. अखिलेश पेशवे यांनी माननीय कुलगुरू डॉ. मनाली क्षीरसागर यांच्या उपस्थितीत पदभार स्वीकारला.
विद्यापीठाचे १४ वे प्र-कुलगुरू म्हणून डॉ. अखिलेश पेशवे यांनी पदभार स्वीकारल्यानंतर आपल्या कार्यालयात कामकाजास सुरुवात केली. प्र-कुलगुरू पदाचा पदभार स्वीकारल्यानंतर डॉ. अखिलेश पेशवे यांचा महाविद्यालयाच्या वतीने प्राचार्य डॉ ईश्वर मोहुर्ले, माजी व्यवस्थापन परिषद सदस्य डॉ पांडुरंग डांगे, डॉ लक्ष्मीकांत कापगते, आय क्यू एसी समन्वयक, डॉ आशिष कावळे, रासेयो कार्यक्रम अधिकारी, जगत महाविद्यालय गोरेगाव चे डॉ निळकंठ लंजे, एन पी डब्लू महाविद्यालय लाखनी चे डॉ गणेश कापसे यांची उपस्थिती होती.

𝗣𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗲𝘁𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻
The department of Zoology, S. S. S S Jaiswal College Arjuni / Morgaon Dist- Gondia-441701. Successfully organized a Poster competition on the theme "Indian scientists and cellular organelles" on 24 April 2026 at Zoology laboratory. A total 21 students actively participated and presented creative and informative poster showcasing the contributions of indian scientists and the structure and functions of various cellular organelles. The competition was judged by Dr. Sharad Deshmukh, HOD Microbiology, who appreciated the students effort and provided valuable guidance. The event was conducted jnder the guidance of Dr. Manoj K. Bangadkar, HOD Zoology with support from Ms. Sonal Meshram and Ms. Harsha Kapgate, Assistant professors. Ms. Pragati Raut (B. Sc. Sem II Zoology) secured the first prize followed by Ms. Dimpal Kapgate (B. Sc. Sem II Zoology) with second prize and Ms. Meers Uke (B. Sc. Sem IV Chemistry) with third prize. The competition proved to be an enriching experience, promoting creativity, scientific awareness and active learning among students.

Field Visit to Vermiculture and Vermicomposting Unit
Date: 22 April 2026

The Department of Zoology, Shivprasad Sadanand Jaiswal College, Arjuni, organized a field visit to a vermiculture and vermicomposting unit located at Salai, District Gondia, on 22 April 2026. A total of 18 students from M.Sc. Semester II (Zoology) participated in the visit.
The programme was organized and coordinated by Dr. Manoj K. Bangadkar, Head of the Department of Zoology, along with Dr. Gopal Paliwal. Shri R. R. Meshram also contributed as a resource person and actively guided the students during the visit.
During the session, the resource persons provided a detailed explanation of the process of vermicompost preparation, emphasizing the role of earthworms in organic waste decomposition. They elaborated on the biological characteristics of earthworms, their ecological significance, and the techniques involved in maintaining a vermicomposting unit effectively.
The field-based practical demonstration significantly enhanced the learning experience of the students by bridging theoretical knowledge with real-world applications. The participants gained valuable practical insights into sustainable agricultural practices and developed a deeper understanding of eco-friendly waste management. Furthermore, the visit contributed to improving students’ skills related to organic farming techniques.

व्यक्तिमत्त्व विकासासाठी ‘माइंड पॉवर आणि फोकस ट्रेनिंग’ मार्गदर्शन

आज शिवप्रसाद सदानंद जायस्वाल महाविद्यालयात अंतर्गत गुणवत्ता हमी कक्ष, इंग्रजी व मराठी विभागाच्या संयुक्त विद्यमाने विद्यार्थीकेंद्रीत ‘द लिटरेरी नेक्सस’ अंतर्गत ‘माइंड पॉवर आणि फोकस ट्रेनिंग’ या विषयावर मार्गदर्शन कार्यक्रम प्राचार्य डॉ ईश्वर मोहुर्ले यांच्या मार्गदर्शनात उत्साहात आयोजित करण्यात आला.
या कार्यक्रमासाठी प्रमुख मार्गदर्शक म्हणून उपस्थित असलेले प्रशिक्षक श्री प्रवीण उके यांनी विद्यार्थ्यांना माइंड पॉवरचे महत्त्व, एकाग्रतेची गरज आणि यशस्वी जीवनासाठी मानसिक तयारी कशी असावी याविषयी सविस्तर मार्गदर्शन केले. त्यांनी चेतन व अचेतन मेंदूचे कार्य, कल्पनाशक्तीची ताकद, एकाग्रता वाढवण्याचे उपाय तसेच व्यक्तीची क्षमता आणि कौशल्य यांची योग्य सांगड घालण्याबाबत सखोल चर्चा केली. त्यांच्या प्रभावी मार्गदर्शनामुळे विद्यार्थ्यांमध्ये उत्साहाचे वातावरण निर्माण झाले.
कार्यक्रमाच्या प्रास्ताविकात डॉ. लक्ष्मीकांत कापगते, समन्वयक, अंतर्गत गुणवत्ता हमी कक्ष, यांनी विद्यार्थ्यांच्या अभ्यासातील एकाग्रता वाढवणे आणि ध्यानाच्या माध्यमातून मानसिक संतुलन साधणे हा या कार्यक्रमाचा मुख्य उद्देश असल्याचे स्पष्ट केले. यावेळी डॉ. सी. बी. यांनी मानसशास्त्रीय दृष्टिकोनातून मन, मेंदू आणि शरीर यांची योग्य काळजी घेणे किती आवश्यक आहे, यावर भर दिला.
कार्यक्रमाचे अध्यक्ष डॉ. भारत राठोड यांनी आपल्या मार्गदर्शनात विद्यार्थ्यांना उद्देशून सांगितले की, यश मिळवण्यासाठी मनाची योग्य दिशा आणि सकारात्मक विचारसरणी आवश्यक आहे. त्यांनी विद्यार्थ्यांना आत्मविश्वास वाढवण्याचे आणि आपल्या क्षमतांचा योग्य उपयोग करण्याचे आवाहन केले.
या कार्यक्रमाला डॉ. शरद मेश्राम व डॉ. स्वाती मडावी यांची प्रमुख उपस्थिती लाभली. कार्यक्रमाचे संचालन कु. संजना दास यांनी तर आभार प्रदर्शन डॉ. मडावी यांनी केले.
विद्यार्थ्यांनी या कार्यक्रमात मोठ्या उत्साहाने सहभाग नोंदवला आणि मार्गदर्शनाचा लाभ घेतला. कार्यक्रमामुळे विद्यार्थ्यांमध्ये एकाग्रता, आत्मविश्वास आणि मानसिक बळ वाढवण्यास निश्चितच मदत होणार असल्याचे मत व्यक्त करण्यात आले.
