We are delighted to share a remarkable achievement by our student Sujal Pol, a third-year student from the Department of Electrical Engineering, Annasaheb Dange College of Engineering & Technology, Ashta. 👏
Sujal has showcased exceptional talent and innovation at the prestigious Sugar Next Hackathon held in Delhi, securing a winning prize of ₹2,00,000. 💡🏆
This national-level hackathon, organized by the Government of India in association with the Indian Sugar & Bio-energy Manufacturers Association (ISMA), brought together some of the brightest minds across the country. Competing at such a platform and emerging successful is truly commendable.

The Department of Mechanical Engineering, under the IIC Cell, successfully organized an Awareness Program on World Creativity and Innovation Day on 21st April.

The session was delivered by Dr. S. P. Chavan Sir, who shared valuable insights on the significance of creativity and innovation in today’s dynamic world.

The primary objective of organizing this session was to inspire students to think creatively and develop innovative solutions to real-world problems. The session emphasized the importance of creativity in engineering, entrepreneurship, and societal development. It encouraged participants to explore new ideas, enhance their problem-solving abilities, and adopt a multidisciplinary approach toward innovation.

The program also created awareness about the vital role of innovation in sustainable development and technological advancement.

A guidance session was organized for the parents who accompanied their wards to the CET Examination 2026 center.

During the session, parents were informed about the examination process, guided on how to support their children effectively, and provided insights into various career opportunities.

The session was delivered by Dr. M. M. Jadhav. Two sessions were organized daily.

जागतिक इंनोव्हेशन दिवसाचे औचित्य साधतं, संत ज्ञानेश्वर शिक्षण संस्थेच्या अण्णासाहेब डांगे अभियांत्रिकी महाविद्यालय आष्टा येथे “इनोव्हेशन प्रोटोटाईप २०२६” या प्रदर्शनाचे यशस्वी आयोजन करण्यात आले.

या प्रदर्शनामध्ये महाविद्यालयातील विविध शाखांमधील जवळपास 850 विद्यार्थ्यांनी उत्स्फूर्त सहभाग नोंदवत एकूण २५८ अभिनव संकल्पना मुर्त रूप देत प्रकल्प सादर केलले. सादर करण्यात आलेल्या सर्व प्रकल्पांमध्ये नाविन्यपूर्णता आणि उपयुक्तता स्पष्टपणे दिसून आली. या नवोन्मेष प्रदर्शनाचे आयोजन, रिसर्च, इनोव्हेशन अँड स्टार्टअप्स कार्यालयामार्फत म्हविद्यालयच्या सर्व विभागाच्या सहकार्याने करण्यात आले होते.

या कार्यक्रमास संस्थेचे सचिव अ‍ॅड. राजेंद्र डांगे, सहसचिव श्री. विश्वनाथ डांगे, महाविद्यालयाचे संचालक डॉ. एल. वाय. वाघमोडे, डीन अकॅडमिक्स डॉ. एस. गोपीनाथ, असोसिएट डीन अकॅडमिक्स डॉ. संदीप सुतार, तसेच रिसर्च, इनोव्हेशन अँड स्टार्टअप्स विभागाचे डीन डॉ. अमोल डांगे आणि असोसिएट डीन डॉ. माधव जे. साळुंखे, सर्वं विभागप्रमुख यांची प्रमुख उपस्थित होती.
यावेळी संस्थेचे सचिव अ‍ॅड. राजेंद्र डांगे यांनी आपल्या मार्गदर्शनात नमूद केले की, अभियांत्रिकी शिक्षणामध्ये संशोधनवृत्ती ही अत्यंत महत्त्वाची असून विद्यार्थ्यांनी केवळ अभ्यासापुरते मर्यादित न राहता प्रत्यक्ष समस्यांवर उपाय शोधण्याकडे लक्ष द्यावे. अशा उपक्रमांमुळे विद्यार्थ्यांमध्ये उद्योजकतेची बीजे रुजतात आणि ते आत्मनिर्भर बनतात आणि म्हणून संस्था सातत्याने अशा उपक्रमांना प्रोत्साहन देते.
सहसचिव श्री. विश्वनाथ डांगे यांनी आपल्या मनोगतात सांगितले की, आज सादर झालेल्या संकल्पना या उद्याच्या तंत्रज्ञानाची पायाभरणी आहेत. संचालक डॉ. एल. वाय. वाघमोडे यांनी सांगितले की, इनोव्हेशन प्रोटोटाईप एक्झिबिशनसारखे उपक्रम विद्यार्थ्यांच्या सर्वांगीण विकासासाठी अत्यंत उपयुक्त ठरतात. अशा प्रदर्शनांमुळे विद्यार्थ्यांना आपले तांत्रिक ज्ञान प्रत्यक्षात सादर करण्याची संधी मिळते तसेच संशोधन आणि स्टार्टअप संस्कृतीला चालना मिळते.
तसेच डॉ. अमोल डांगे यांनी सांगितले की, या प्रदर्शनामुळे विद्यार्थ्यांच्या सर्जनशीलता, संशोधनवृत्ती आणि नवोन्मेषी विचारांना मोठी चालना मिळाली असून, भविष्यातील स्टार्टअप्ससाठी ही एक महत्त्वपूर्ण आणि प्रेरणादायी पायरी ठरणार आहे. या सर्वं अभिनव कल्पनांना महाविद्यालच्या इन्कबेशन सेन्टर च्या माध्यमातून सर्वांतोपरी सहकार्य केले जाईल अशी ग्वाही त्यांनी दिली.
