Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Ramayan Vishwavidyalaya celebrated Guru Purnima on dated 29th July 2026 with great devotion and respect, paying tribute to the life, teachings, and vision of His Holiness Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Ji. The programme reflected the University's dedication to his values of consciousness-based education, overall development, and quality learning.

The celebration was attended by Hon'ble Chancellor Shri Ajay Prakash Srivastava Ji, Vice-Chancellor Prof. Bhanu Pratap Ji, along with faculty members, students, staff, and devotees.

Speaking on the occasion, Hon'ble Chancellor Shri Ajay Prakash Srivastava Ji paid his respects to Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Ji and described him as a great spiritual leader whose teachings continue to guide and inspire people around the world. He said that Maharishi Ji's ideas about consciousness-based education are still relevant today and help people lead a peaceful, balanced, and meaningful life.

Vice-Chancellor Prof. Bhanu Pratap Ji spoke about the importance of Guru Purnima and said that it is a special day to express gratitude to the Guru, who shows us the path of knowledge and self-realisation. He also said that the University will continue to follow and promote the educational philosophy and values of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Ji.

During the programme, floral tributes were offered to Maharishi Ji, followed by prayers and a moment of collective gratitude. Faculty members, students, and staff took part with great enthusiasm, making the celebration meaningful and spiritually uplifting.

The programme ended with everyone renewing their commitment to follow Maharishi Ji's teachings by promoting knowledge, discipline, compassion, and excellence in every aspect of life.
