ରୋତ କଲେଜରେ ରକ୍ତଦାନ ଶିବିର

ବଲାଙ୍ଗିର ଜିଲ୍ଲା ଆଗଲପୁର ପଞ୍ଚାୟତ ସମିତି ମହାବିଦ୍ୟାଳୟ, ବାଣୀନିକେତନ, ରୋତରେ ଓଡ଼ିଆ ପକ୍ଷ ପାଳନ ଅବସରରେ ଆଜି ଏକ ରକ୍ତଦାନ ଶିବିର ଅନୁଷ୍ଠିତ ହୋଇଯାଇଛି। ମହାବିଦ୍ୟାଳୟର ୟୁଥ ରେଡକ୍ରସ, ରେଡରିବନ୍ କ୍ଲବ, ଜାତୀୟ ସେବା ଯୋଜନା ଓ ଜାତୀୟ ସମର ଶିକ୍ଷାର୍ଥୀ ବାହିନୀ ଦ୍ବାରା ଆୟୋଜିତ ଏହି ଶିବିରକୁ ଅଧ୍ୟକ୍ଷ ଶ୍ରୀଯୁକ୍ତ ପ୍ରଦୀପ କୁମାର ଷଡଙ୍ଗୀ ଉଦଘାଟନ କରିଥିଲେ। ପ୍ରାରମ୍ଭରେ ଏକ ସାଧାରଣ ସଭା ଅନୁଷ୍ଠିତ ହୋଇ ରକ୍ତଦାନର ଉପକାରିତା ଓ ତାର ଆବଶ୍ୟକତା ସଂପର୍କରେ ଛାତ୍ରଛାତ୍ରୀଙ୍କୁ ଅବଗତ କରାଯାଇ ଥିଲା। ଏହି ଶିବିରରେ ମହାବିଦ୍ୟାଳୟର ତିରିଶ ଜଣ ଛାତ୍ରଛାତ୍ରୀ, ଅଧ୍ୟାପକ ଓ କର୍ମଚାରୀ ସ୍ବେଚ୍ଛାକୃତ ଭାବରେ ରକ୍ତଦାନ କରିଥିଲେ। ବଲାଙ୍ଗିର ରକ୍ତଭଣ୍ଡାରର ଡକ୍ଟର ଅଶୋକ କୁମାର ମିଶ୍ର, ଜ୍ୟୋତିର୍ମୟୀ ନାଏକ, ଶେଖ୍ ଅବଦୁଲ ଆସରଫ, ଦେବାଶିଷ ମିଶ୍ର, ସଜନ ରଣା ଓ ସୁଶିଲ ସୁନା ରକ୍ତ ସଂଗ୍ରହ କରିଥିଲେ। ମହାବିଦ୍ୟାଳୟ ଜାତୀୟ ସେବା ଯୋଜନାର କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକ୍ରମ ଅଧିକାରୀ ଅଧ୍ୟାପକ ଦୈତାରି ଶବର, ଜାତୀୟ ସମର ଶିକ୍ଷାର୍ଥୀ ବାହିନୀର ଲେଫ୍ଟନାଣ୍ଟ ଗୋପାଳ ସାହୁ, ୟୁଥ ରେଡକ୍ରସର ସଂଯୋଜକ ଡକ୍ଟର ଲିଙ୍ଗରାଜ ମେହେର ଓ ରୁପେଶ ଷାଣ୍ଢଙ୍କ ନେତୃତ୍ବରେ ଅନୁଷ୍ଠିତ ଏହି ଶିବିରକୁ ସମସ୍ତ ସ୍ବେଚ୍ଛାସେବୀ ଛାତ୍ରଛାତ୍ରୀ, ଅଧ୍ୟାପକ ଓ କର୍ମଚାରୀ ବିଶେଷ ସହଯୋଗ କରିଥିଲେ।

District-Level Health Camp on Anemia Awareness at A.P.S. College, Roth.

A district-level one-day anemia awareness health camp was organized today at Agalpur Panchayat Samiti College, Roth, Dist.-Balangir.
The program was conducted with the support of the Higher Education Department, Government of Odisha, and jointly organized by the National Service Scheme (NSS) unit of the college and Rajendra University, Balangir. Volunteers (female students) and program officers from 10 colleges of the district participated in the event.
On this occasion, a general meeting was held under the chairmanship of the college Principal, Sri. Pradeep Kumar Sadangi , Dr. Bansidhar Deep from Rajendra University and District NSS Coordinator attended as the Chief Guest, while Dr. Ajit Kumar Bhoi, District Programme Officer, joined as the Guest of Honour. Dr. Dhirendra Kumar Meher, Medical Officer of Agalpur Community Health Centre, attended as the Chief Speaker.
Dr. Meher delivered an informative speech on the causes, symptoms, and prevention of anemia. The meeting was coordinated by Professor Dr. Lingaraj Meher, while Programme Officer Mr. Daitari Sabar delivered the welcome address and outlined the objectives of the program. The session concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by student Mami Sahu.
Around 250 students participated in the camp and underwent health check-ups. Faculty members and program officers including Dr. Minati Debata, Dr. Ramani Naik, Deeptimayi Naik, Devaki Naik, Dr. Lakshan Meher, Jagamohan Darji, Yudhisthir Pradhan, and Birendra Kumar Bag were present.
All NSS volunteers, faculty members, and staff of the college actively contributed to the successful organization of the program.

ବଲାଙ୍ଗୀର ଜିଲ୍ଲା ଆଗଲପୁର ପଞ୍ଚାୟତ ସମିତି ମହାବିଦ୍ୟାଳୟ, ବାଣୀନିକେତନ, ରୋତର ଓଡ଼ିଆ ଭାଷା ଓ ସାହିତ୍ୟ ବିଭାଗ ଏବଂ ଅଖିଳ ଭାରତୀୟ ସାହିତ୍ୟ ପରିଷଦ, ଓଡ଼ିଶା, ବଲାଙ୍ଗୀର ଶାଖାର ମିଳିତ ଆନୁକୂଲ୍ଯରେ ସ୍ବଭାବକବି ଗଙ୍ଗାଧର ମେହେରଙ୍କ ଶ୍ରାଦ୍ଧୋତ୍ସବ ପାଳନ ଅବସରରେ ଏକ ରାଜ୍ଯସ୍ତରୀୟ ଆଲୋଚନାଚକ୍ର "ପର୍ଯ୍ୟାବରଣ ସୁରକ୍ଷା, ଜୀବନ ରକ୍ଷା" ଓ "ବସନ୍ତ କବିତା ଆସର" ମହାବିଦ୍ୟାଳୟର ସ୍ମାର୍ଟହଲରେ ଅନୁଷ୍ଠିତ ହୋଇଯାଇଛି। ଅଖିଳ ଭାରତୀୟ ସାହିତ୍ୟ ପରିଷଦର ସଭାପତି ଡକ୍ଟର ଭବାନୀ ଶଙ୍କର ପଟେଲଙ୍କ ସଭାପତିତ୍ବରେ ଅନୁଷ୍ଠିତ ଏହି ସଭାରେ ମହାବିଦ୍ୟାଳୟର ଅଧ୍ୟକ୍ଷ ପ୍ରଦୀପ କୁମାର ଷଡଙ୍ଗୀ ମୁଖ୍ଯଅତିଥି, ବିଭାଗମୁଖ୍ୟ ପ୍ରମୋଦ କୁମାର ଦାଶ ସମ୍ମାନୀତ ଅତିଥି, ପରିଷଦର ସଚିବ ରାମଚନ୍ଦ୍ର ପଟେଲ, ରାଜ୍ଯ କାର୍ଯ୍ଯକାରିଣୀ ସଭ୍ୟ ଗିରିଜା ଶଙ୍କର ରଥ, ମୁଖ୍ୟବକ୍ତା ଅଧ୍ୟାପକ ବୁଦ୍ଧଦେବ ପଣ୍ଡା, ସମ୍ମାନୀତ ବକ୍ତା ଅଧ୍ୟାପକ ଶିବାନନ୍ଦ ସାହୁ ପ୍ରଭୃତି ମଞ୍ଚାସୀନ ରହି ପ୍ରକୃତିକବି ଗଙ୍ଗାଧର ମେହେରଙ୍କ ସ୍ମୃତିଚାରଣ କରିବା ସହ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟାବରଣ ସୁରକ୍ଷାରେ ଜୀବନ ରକ୍ଷା, ବେଳହୁଁ ସାବଧାନ ନହେଲେ ଆଗାମୀ ପିଢି ବଞ୍ଚିବା ଅସମ୍ଭବ ହୋଇଯିବ ବୋଲି ମତବ୍ୟକ୍ତ କରିଥିଲେ। ପ୍ରାରମ୍ଭରେ ଛାତ୍ରୀ ଜ୍ୟୋତ୍ସ୍ନା ସାହୁ, ମଞ୍ଜରୀ ପୁଟେଲ, ସୁଦେଷ୍ନା ବରିହା, ଜୟଶ୍ରୀ ପଧାନ, ଗୋଲାପୀ ମୁଣ୍ଡା, ଆଶା ଦୋରା ପ୍ରଭୃତି ପ୍ରାରମ୍ଭିକ ସଙ୍ଗୀତ ଗାନ କରିଥିଲେ। ଏହାପରେ ବସନ୍ତ ଋତୁ ସଂପର୍କରେ ଏକ କବିତା ପାଠୋତ୍ସବ ଅନୁଷ୍ଠିତ ହୋଇଥିଲା। ଏଥିରେ ମହାବିଦ୍ୟାଳୟର ଛାତ୍ରଛାତ୍ରୀ, ଅଧ୍ୟାପକ, ଅଧ୍ୟାପିକା, କର୍ମଚାରୀଙ୍କ ସମେତ ପରିଷଦର କର୍ମକର୍ତ୍ତା ପ୍ରଭୃତି ବୟାଳିଶ ଜଣ ସ୍ବରଚିତ କବିତାମାନ ପାଠ କରିଥିଲେ। କବିରତ୍ନ ଗୋପିକୃଷ୍ଣ ପାଣ୍ଡିଆ, ନାଟ୍ୟକାର ରାମଶଙ୍କର ଶତପଥୀ, ଶେଷଦେବ ଦାନୀ ସଙ୍ଗୀତ ଗାନ କରିଥିଲେ। ଆଲୋଚନାଚକ୍ରକୁ ଅଧ୍ୟାପକ ଡକ୍ଟର ଲିଙ୍ଗରାଜ ମେହେର ଓ କବିତା ଆସରକୁ ଡକ୍ଟର ସୋମନାଥ ପଧାନ ସଂଯୋଜନା କରିଥିବା ବେଳେ ଶେଷରେ ଅଧ୍ୟାପକ ବାମଦେବ ମେହେର ଧନ୍ୟବାଦ ଜ୍ଞାପନ କରିଥିଲେ। ଏଥିରେ ମହାବିଦ୍ୟାଳୟର ବହୁସଂଖ୍ୟକ ଛାତ୍ରଛାତ୍ରୀଙ୍କ ସମେତ ସମସ୍ତ ଅଧ୍ୟାପକ, ଅଧ୍ୟାପିକା ଓ କର୍ମଚାରୀ ସକ୍ରିୟ ଅଂଶଗ୍ରହଣ କରିଥିଲେ। ଏହି ସମସ୍ତ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକ୍ରମରେ ସଞ୍ଜୀବ ତ୍ରିପାଠୀ, ଯଶୋବନ୍ତ ସାହୁ, ରୋଶନ ରାଉତ ଓ ମୋହନ ପଣ୍ଡା ପ୍ରଭୃତି ସହଯୋଗ କରିଥିଲେ।

✨ Empowering Young Minds Through Self-Defense! ✨
The Closing Ceremony of the Self-Defense Training Programme for Plus Three First Year girl students was successfully held at APS College, Roth. 💪🎓
The event was presided over by Sri Sudhanshu Sekhar Bag, Head of the History Department, while the Principal, Sri Pradeep Kumar Sarangi, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.
We were honored by the presence of Master Trainer Miss Madhabi Sahu on the dais, whose dedication and guidance empowered our students with essential self-defense skills.
The programme was smoothly moderated by Dr. Lingaraj Meher, Lecturer in Odia.
🎖️ Participation certificates were distributed to all students, celebrating their enthusiasm, confidence, and commitment.

The 20th Departmental Seminar organized by the Department of Botany on 20 January 2026 during the 2025–26 session strengthened the academic understanding of Final Year undergraduate students. The presentation by Sri Anubhab Sahu enhanced knowledge on the principles, types, and aesthetic significance of garden design, while the presentation by Sri Jitendra Padhan improved understanding of the classification of w**ds and sustainable w**d management strategies for crop protection. The interactive discussion with the Head of the Department and faculty members reinforced conceptual clarity, promoted critical thinking, and supported outcome-based learning, practical understanding, and communication skills.

Celebration of 16th National Voters’ Day at A.P.S. College, Roth

A.P.S. College, Roth, District–Balangir celebrated the 16th National Voters’ Day today with great enthusiasm to promote electoral awareness and democratic values among students. The programme was presided over by the Hon’ble Principal, Sri Pradeep Kumar Sarangi, who highlighted the importance of voting as a fundamental right and civic duty of every citizen. On the occasion, a Voters’ Pledge Taking Ceremony was also observed, where students, faculty members, and staff collectively took a pledge to uphold the values of democracy, participate responsibly in the electoral process, and encourage others to vote. The event aimed to inspire young voters to actively engage in nation-building through informed and ethical voting.

The National Youth Day was celebrated at A.P.S. College, Roth, District Bolangir, on 12 January 2026. On the occasion, the statue of Swami Vivekananda was unveiled by the Hon’ble Minister Dr. Mukesh Mahaling. The programme also featured a mass recitation of the national song “Vande Mataram” and various cluster-level competitions involving school and +2 students. The event was jointly organised by the NSS, YRC, and NCC units of the college in collaboration with the IQAC.
