District-Level Health Camp on Anemia Awareness at A.P.S. College, Roth.

A district-level one-day anemia awareness health camp was organized today at Agalpur Panchayat Samiti College, Roth, Dist.-Balangir.
The program was conducted with the support of the Higher Education Department, Government of Odisha, and jointly organized by the National Service Scheme (NSS) unit of the college and Rajendra University, Balangir. Volunteers (female students) and program officers from 10 colleges of the district participated in the event.
On this occasion, a general meeting was held under the chairmanship of the college Principal, Sri. Pradeep Kumar Sadangi , Dr. Bansidhar Deep from Rajendra University and District NSS Coordinator attended as the Chief Guest, while Dr. Ajit Kumar Bhoi, District Programme Officer, joined as the Guest of Honour. Dr. Dhirendra Kumar Meher, Medical Officer of Agalpur Community Health Centre, attended as the Chief Speaker.
Dr. Meher delivered an informative speech on the causes, symptoms, and prevention of anemia. The meeting was coordinated by Professor Dr. Lingaraj Meher, while Programme Officer Mr. Daitari Sabar delivered the welcome address and outlined the objectives of the program. The session concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by student Mami Sahu.
Around 250 students participated in the camp and underwent health check-ups. Faculty members and program officers including Dr. Minati Debata, Dr. Ramani Naik, Deeptimayi Naik, Devaki Naik, Dr. Lakshan Meher, Jagamohan Darji, Yudhisthir Pradhan, and Birendra Kumar Bag were present.
All NSS volunteers, faculty members, and staff of the college actively contributed to the successful organization of the program.
