One day National Seminar on the ocassion of World Philosophy day is being organised by Department of Philosophy KKS Women's College,Balasore today on the topic Philosophical Teachings: Methods to maintain an Ethical life in Society.

In the inaugural event Principal, Dr Jhansi Jena addressed the gathering, Seminar Convenor-cum-HOD, Dept. of Philosophy Dr Renubala Sundaray introduced the guests.
Prof. (Dr.) Satya Sundar Sethy, Prof. of Philosophy, Department of Humanities and Social Sciences, IIT, Madras, Chennai shared his thoughts on the topic as chief speaker and Dr. Deepak Kumar Behera, Asst. Prof. in Philosophy (HOD), P.G Department of Philosophy, M.P.C. (Auto) College, Baripada presented the keynote address. Ms. Rajashree Roul, Lecturer in Philosophy proposed the formal vote of thanks. All staff members and students of Philosophy wholeheartedly supported for the smooth conducte of the seminar.

Research scholars, academicians and students from various institutions participated and presented their research papers in two parallel technical sessions.

Seminar concluded with cultural performances by students of Philosophy.

Constitution Day Celebration at KKS Women's College, Balasore 🇮🇳

We were honored to have Mr. Sanjay Kumar Rout, CDO cm Executive Officer, Zilla Parishad Balasore, as our chief guest for the Constitution Day celebration! 🙏

Mr. Rout delivered an inspiring talk on the significance of our Constitution and its values. Principal KKS Women's College,Balasore Dr. Jhansi Jena, Administrative Bursar cm HOD Department of Political Science Mr. Sanjay Kumar Shaw, Coordinator IQAC Dr. Narayan Surjit Behera, and Academic Bursar Dr. Pradosh Ku Jena addressed the gathering, emphasizing the importance of constitutional values in our daily lives.

An engaging quiz, conducted by Mr. Ajay Gopal, Asst. Prof. of History, tested our knowledge and understanding of our Constitution.
