A Study tour was organized for the 6th semester students of the Computer Science & Engineering department of Srinix College of Engineering, accompanied by faculty members. It provided a meaningful platform to bridge theoretical knowledge with practical exposure, thereby enhancing the academic and professional outlook of the students.
During the visit, they explored several advanced research laboratories, interacted with distinguished research professionals, and gained valuable insights along with innovative ideas in their respective domains. The experience proved to be highly enriching and inspiring, encouraging students to explore emerging opportunities in technology and research.

An industrial visit was organized by Srinix college of Engineering Balasore Department of Mechanical and Department of MBA to Jindal steel ,Jindal Nagar Angul Odisha on 6 th FEbruary 2026
Students of both Departments visited the plant with HOD Mechanical Dept
E r BiswaRanjan Champati Ray and Faculties and HOD Dept of MBA Dr Snehasis Panda with faculties
The visit aimed to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical industrial exposure especially in the Steel manufacturing.

The Department of Computer Science & Engineering of Srinix College of Engineering, Balasore successfully organized a two-day Hands-on Workshop-cum-Seminar on “Cyber Security” on 10th and 11th March 2026 at the Srinix Auditorium. The programme was conducted in collaboration with the Computer Science & Engineering Student Association (CSESA).

The workshop was conducted by Er. Maheswar Behera, Senior Analyst, Accenture India Pvt. Ltd., who delivered insightful sessions on various aspects of cyber security, including cyber threats, ethical hacking, data protection, and safe online practices. The sessions combined both theoretical concepts and practical demonstrations, enabling students to understand real-world cyber security challenges.

Students actively participated in the hands-on activities and gained practical exposure to modern cyber security tools and techniques. A large number of students attended the workshop and benefited from the interactive sessions, which helped enhance their awareness and technical knowledge in the field of cyber security.
