Rao Bahadur Y. Mahabaleswarppa Engineering College, Ballari One of the oldest Engineering College in Ballari Sri. Rao Bahadur Y. Mahabaleswarappa was born on 3rd June 1906 at Yemmiganur, Ballari (Tq. & Dist). Sugamma.

He was the son of Sri Changallappa and Smt. He completed primary and school education at Wardlaw College, Ballari. He Strongly carried froward the message "VIDYA GNENESHA SHOBATHE". He becaome the youngest Ballari District Board President in the year 1932 under the mentorship of Diwan Bahadur Gopal Swamy. At the age of 25 he hounoured Bapuji when Bapuji visited Ballari in the year 1931. Railway br
