🌟 From Classroom Ideas to Successful Startups! 🚀

Ballari Institute of Technology & Management (BITM), Ballari, through the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) in association with the Department of Computer Science & Engineering, successfully conducted a National Level Self-Driven Activity on:

💡 “FROM CLASSROOM IDEAS TO SUCCESSFUL STARTUPS”
Theme: Innovate • Incubate • Inspire – Engineering Solutions for a Sustainable Future

The event provided an excellent platform for our students to explore innovation, entrepreneurship, startup opportunities, idea generation, incubation, and sustainable engineering solutions.

👨‍🎓 Participation Highlights:
🔹 50 CSE Students actively participated
🔹 10 Faculty Members from the Department of CSE participated
🔹 Students engaged in meaningful discussions and gained valuable insights into transforming innovative classroom ideas into real-world solutions and successful startups.

🎤 We were privileged to have Mr. Praveen H. J., Vice President, Centre of Excellence (Digital Agriculture), Central Coffee Research Institute (Coffee Board), Bengaluru, as the Chief Resource Person.

🚀 From Idea to Enterprise: Entrepreneurship, Innovation, Startup & Business Planning 🚀
The Department of Master of Computer Applications (MCA), Ballari Institute of Technology & Management (BITM), Ballari, in association with the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), successfully inaugurated an insightful session on “From Idea to Enterprise: Entrepreneurship, Innovation, Startup, and Business Planning.”
The event was addressed by Dr. Girish Kumar D, HOD, MCA Department, who highlighted the importance of nurturing an entrepreneurial mindset among students and encouraged them to transform innovative ideas into impactful ventures.
The session featured Mr. Praveen H J, Vice President – CoE in Digital Agriculture, Bengaluru, as the resource person. His valuable insights on the startup ecosystem, innovation, legal procedures, ethical responsibilities, compliance, and sustainable business ventures provided students with meaningful perspectives on building successful enterprises.
The event was attended by the faculty members and students of the MCA Department, who actively participated and benefited from the knowledge-sharing session.

Special congratulations to Dr K. M. Sadyojatha for receiving the NPTEL Certificate of Appreciation in recognition of his outstanding contribution as the SPOC of the SWAYAM-NPTEL Local Chapter. His dedication and leadership have played a key role in promoting online learning and achieving this milestone.

Our alumnus, Maaz (ECE Batch of 2003), believes that while opportunities come in waves, building the right skills with intention is what helps students stay ahead.

Today, as Director at , he shares practical insights on navigating the VLSI industry, using AI as a tool to strengthen skills, and the important role alumni play in bridging the gap between academia and industry.
