MAHE Nobel Insights 2026: Economic Sciences – Faculty from MAHE Bengaluru, Dr. Abhishek Kumar Rohit, Professor and Associate Dean Academics, TAPMI Bengaluru, and Dr. Kedar Vishnu, Associate Professor of Economics, MILHS, share their expert insights on the Nobel Prize in Economic Sciences 2026. The prize went to Robert E. Hall of Stanford University and Michael Woodford of Columbia University "for microeconomic foundations of macroeconomic stabilisation." Their models show how households and businesses look ahead when they make decisions. That work helps governments and central banks time fiscal and monetary policy to smooth out the economy's highs and lows.

MAHE will host the Times Higher Education Asia Universities Summit 2027 at the MAHE Bengaluru Campus from 20 to 22 April 2027. This prestigious summit will be held in India for the first time. It will provide a forum for university leaders, scholars, policymakers, researchers and industry representatives to exchange ideas and discuss the evolving priorities of higher education across Asia and beyond.

The 2027 summit will focus on “Talent, transition and scale: Leading in an era of expansion,” with discussions on the opportunities and challenges shaping higher education, including talent development, technological transformation, internationalisation, research and innovation, demographic change, and climate resilience.

Dhol Baje at MAHE Bengaluru brought the campus together for a Garba night filled with colour, music and the kind of festive energy that made it hard to leave the dance floor.
