Hasanath College For Women, Bangalore was established on 1st July 1973 under the management of Hasanath Education Society (Regd), a Minority Institution was started in the year 1971 by late Alhaj Adam HajeeEbrahimSaitSaheb and late Alhaj H.M. Ismail TabishSaheb.
The college is affiliated to Bangalore University, Bengaluru and recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under section 2(f) on 16th April 1990 & 12(B) 23rd August 1994 under Act, 1956.
The college offers education comprising of BA, B.Com, BBM and B.Sc courses with various specializations including optional languages at the undergraduate level and M.Com at Postgraduate Level.
It is re-accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with "B+"Grade - (CGPA Score 2.52 on a 4 Point Scale in 3rd Cycle) on 15th September 2016.
ü The college is located in the heart of the city with a spacious campus in Dickenson Rd & Hennur Bandhe locations.

ü The college runs a canteen inside the campus where staff and students can have meals and snacks prepared in a hygienic manner and at an affordable cost
ü The college has hostel facility for girls with all modern facilities like study room, Internet Centre, Health Care Centre, 24hrs Security and 24hrs Generator system.
ü The college is well-equipped with modern facilities like library, laboratory, classrooms, computer lab, canteen, seminar halls, common rooms, auditorium, multipurpose halls, playground & Gym etc.
ü The college has a State of the art library with a good number of books (both text and reference) on various subjects to meet the needs of the students as well as the teachers with reading room facility. Daily Newspapers and selected journals are also regularly subscribed
ü The college has a vibrant campus life with a wide range of opportunities to fill your free time
ü The college has the most eminent Faculty members and they are really well qualified, experienced and truly committed towards enhancement and development of the students
ü A sufficient number of classrooms with varying sizes are made available for the smooth conduct of different classes in the college
ü The college has established an Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) on 10th December 2004 to assure the quality of the college and also details regarding submission of Annual Quality Assurance Reports (AQAR) to NAAC annually
ü State Government and Central Government offers a number of scholarships to the meritorious students and the students belonging to SC / ST / OBC
ü The college also organizes workshops, seminars, and conferences for improving teaching skills and methodology
ü The college consists Women Cell to help female students. This cell helps and guides girls to sort out from their personal problem and avoid them from any harassment
