The School of Business and Management – MBA Programme at CHRIST (Deemed to be University) proudly celebrates another significant research achievement with the publication of an article in the journal Tourism Analysis (β€˜A’ Rated in ABDC ABS-2 Ranked).

Congratulations to Dr. Nisha Shankar, Associate Professor, and Dr. Kiran V. Sagar, Assistant Professor on the publication titled β€œDigital Pathways to Low-Emission Tourism: AI and Blockchain for Carbon Market Integration in India.”

The study presents an innovative AI and blockchain-enabled carbon credit trading framework for Indian tourism firms, promoting transparent emission reduction, secure carbon credit exchange, lower transaction costs, and data-driven sustainability decision-making.

The School of Business and Management – MBA Programme at CHRIST (Deemed to be University) proudly celebrates another significant research achievement with the publication of an article in SN Computer Science (Scopus Q1).
Authored by Dr Vijaykumar N, Assistant Professor, the article titled β€œA Study on the Cognitive and Hedonic Factors of Augmented Reality in Influencing Purchasing Intent in Online Shopping in India.” The results show that purchase intent is highly influenced by both hedonic and cognitive factors, with the biggest effect being attributed to hedonic motivation fueled by the AR experience, which is followed by cognitive factors such as perceived value and information utility.
