“Parental Support: The Key to Exam Success and Holistic Development”

V.J. INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL organized "PRERANA", a special awareness programme on “Parental Support: The Key to Exam Success and Holistic Development” on Sunday 01/03/2026 in the School Auditorium for the parents and students of Class X.

The session was delivered by Dr. LAKSHMISH HEGDE SONDA, an eminent scholar, historian, who enlightened the gathering on the crucial role parents play in shaping their children’s academic success and overall personality development.

The speaker emphasized the importance of emotional support, positive communication, structured study routines, and stress management during examinations.

The programme provided practical strategies to help parents guide and motivate their children effectively. Valuable insights were shared on building students’ confidence, maintaining a healthy balance between academics and well-being, and fostering a supportive home environment. The interactive nature of the session allowed parents to clarify their doubts and gain expert guidance on handling exam-related anxiety and performance pressure.

The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from both parents and students. The feedback received was overwhelmingly positive, with many parents expressing appreciation for the timely and meaningful initiative taken by the school.

V. J INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL

The Closing Ceremony of the Three-Day Annual Sports Meet of V. J. International School was held with great enthusiasm and grandeur, marking the successful conclusion of all sporting events.

Dr. Chikkahanumanthe Gowda, Founder of Vivekananda Vidya Vardha High School, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest of the event. In his address, he highlighted the importance of sports in students’ lives and emphasized the role of physical activities in shaping discipline, teamwork, and overall personality development.

The programme commenced with a brief welcome address, followed by a comprehensive overview of the sports events conducted over the three days.
The highlight of the ceremony was the prize distribution programme, during which the winners and runners-up of various events were honoured with medals, trophies, and certificates in recognition of their outstanding performances.

In the closing address, the Principal congratulated all the participants and winners and appreciated the sincere efforts of the Physical Education Department and staff members for the successful organisation of the Annual Sports Meet.

The ceremony concluded with the lowering of the Sports Flag, followed by the National Anthem, bringing the event to a dignified and memorable close.

Inaugural Ceremony of the 3-Day Annual Sports Meet

The inaugural ceremony of the three-day Annual Sports Meet of V.J. International School was held on 01/01/2026 with great zeal and enthusiasm.

The Annual Sports Meet was inaugurated by Sri Subbaraju K, Founder Secretary of S.V.N. School, Nagawara. In his inaugural address, he highlighted the importance of sports in students’ lives and emphasized the role of physical activities in shaping discipline and character.

Sri Lingaraju B.G., the Chief Guest of the event, addressed the students and stated that sports promote physical fitness, teamwork, discipline, and a healthy competitive spirit among students.

The Guest of Honour, Sri Suhas S, Administrator of S.V.N. School, Nagawara, spoke about the tremendous development in the field of Indian sports over the last decade.

The programme was presided over by Dr. Sriramachandra, Founder Secretary of Vijaya Jyothi Group of Institutions.

The Sports Meet was officially declared open by Mr. Madhu Kumar S, Principal of V.J. International School, who encouraged students to actively participate in sports and games for their overall development.

A variety of track and field events were conducted for different age groups, including races, relay, shot put, and fun games. Students participated with great enthusiasm and showcased their talents, strength, and determination.

The cheering and encouragement from teachers and parents added to the lively and energetic atmosphere.

ವಿಜಯ ಜ್ಯೋತಿ ಗಾನ ವೈಭವ – ಇಂಡಿಯಾ ಬುಕ್ ಆಫ್ ರೆಕಾರ್ಡ್ಸ್ ಮತ್ತು ಏಷ್ಯಾ ಬುಕ್ ಆಫ್ ರೆಕಾರ್ಡ್ಸ್‌ಗೆ ಭಾಜನವಾದ ಐತಿಹಾಸಿಕ ಸಮೂಹಗಾಯನ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ

ಯಲಹಂಕ ತಾಲ್ಲೂಕಿನ ಜಾಲ ಹೋಬಳಿಯ ಬಾಗಲೂರಿನ ವಿಜಯ ಜ್ಯೋತಿ ಸಮೂಹ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯಲ್ಲಿ, 70ನೇ ಕನ್ನಡ ರಾಜ್ಯೋತ್ಸವದ ಅಂಗವಾಗಿ 18 ನವೆಂಬರ್ 2025ರಂದು ಸಂಜೆ 5 ಗಂಟೆಗೆ “ವಿಜಯ ಜ್ಯೋತಿ ಗಾನ ವೈಭವ” ಎಂಬ ಅದ್ವಿತೀಯ ಸಮೂಹಗಾಯನ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಅತ್ಯಂತ ವೈಭವದಿಂದ ಆಯೋಜಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.

ಈ ವಿಶೇಷ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಜಯ ಜ್ಯೋತಿ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ 1,166 ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರು ವಾದ್ಯವೃಂದದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಏಕಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದೇ ವೇದಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಮೂಹಗಾಯನ ನಡೆಸಿದರು. ಜಾಗತಿಕ ಮಟ್ಟದಲ್ಲಿ ಇಷ್ಟು ದೊಡ್ಡ ಪ್ರಮಾಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಮೊದಲ ಬಾರಿಗೆ ಆಯೋಜಿಸಲಾದ ಈ ಸಮೂಹಗಾಯನ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವು ನಿಜಕ್ಕೂ ಐತಿಹಾಸಿಕ.

ಖಾಸಗಿ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯೊಂದು, ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನಂತಹ ಮಹಾನಗರದಲ್ಲಿ ಕನ್ನಡ ಜನಪದ ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯ, ವಚನಸಾಹಿತ್ಯ, ನಾಡು–ನುಡಿಯ ಸೊಬಗು ಸಾರುವ 11 ಆಯ್ದ ಕನ್ನಡ ಗೀತೆಗಳನ್ನು ಸಾವಿರಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರ ದ್ವನಿ ಒಂದಾಗಿಸಿ ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತಪಡಿಸಿರುವುದು ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಕನ್ನಡ ನಾಡು–ನುಡಿ–ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಇರುವ ಗೌರವ ಮತ್ತು ನಿಷ್ಠೆಯನ್ನು ಬಿಂಬಿಸುತ್ತದೆ.

ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಉದ್ಘಾಟನೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸುಂದರ ಕ್ಷಣಗಳು

ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವು ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಕವಿ ಕುವೆಂಪು ರಚಿಸಿದ ನಾಡಗೀತೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಭುವನೇಶ್ವರಿ ತಾಯಿಗೆ ನಮನ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಆರಂಭವಾಯಿತು. ನಂತರ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಸದಸ್ಯರು ಹಾಗೂ ಗಾಯಕಿ–ಉಪನ್ಯಾಸಕಿ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಕವಿತಾ ಮಧುಕುಮಾರ್ ರವರು ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆಯನ್ನು ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿ ಶುಭಶಕುನದ ಕಮಲಾರ್ಪಣೆ ಮಾಡಿದರು. ವಿಜಯ ಜ್ಯೋತಿ ಸಂಯುಕ್ತ ಪದವಿಪೂರ್ವ ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರು ಶ್ರೀ ಮಧುಕುಮಾರ್ ರವರು ಅತಿಥಿಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ಸಭಿಕರಿಗೆ ಆತ್ಮೀಯ ಸ್ವಾಗತ ನೀಡಿದರು.

ಶೇಷಾದ್ರಿಪುರಂ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ದತ್ತಿ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಗೌರವ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿಗಳು, ಗಾಂಧೀವಾದಿ, ನಾಡೋಜ ಡಾ. ವೂಡೇ.ಪಿ. ಕೃಷ್ಣ ರವರು ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಉದ್ಘಾಟಿಸಿದರು. ಉದ್ಘಾಟನಾ ಭಾಷಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರು, “ಕನ್ನಡ ಪ್ರೀತಿಯನ್ನು ಆಧಾರವಾಗಿಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡು ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯನ್ನು ನಿರ್ವಹಿಸುವುದು ನಾಡಸೇವೆಯ ನಿಜ ಮುಖ” ಎಂದು ಪ್ರಶಂಸಿಸಿದರು.

ಮಂಡ್ಯ ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾನಿಲಯದ ಕುಲಪತಿ ಡಾ. ಶಿವ ಚಿತ್ತಪ್ಪ ರವರು, ಇಂಗ್ಲಿಷ್ ಪ್ರಾಬಲ್ಯ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿರುವ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಇಷ್ಟು ದೊಡ್ಡ ಮಟ್ಟದಲ್ಲಿ ಕನ್ನಡ ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ಆಯೋಜಿಸಿರುವುದು ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಅರ್ಥಪೂರ್ಣ ಎಂದರು.

ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತ ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯದ ವಿಶ್ರಾಂತ ಕುಲಪತಿ ಪ್ರೊ. ಮಲ್ಲೇಪುರಂ ವೆಂಕಟೇಶ್ ರವರು, “ಸಂಗೀತ ಮತ್ತು ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯ ಮಾನವ ಜೀವನದ ಅವಿಭಾಜ್ಯ ಅಂಗಗಳು, ಹೃದಯಕ್ಕೆ ಅಮೃತದಂತೆ” ಎಂದು ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟಪಡಿಸಿದರು.

ರೆಕಾರ್ಡ್ ದೃಢೀಕರಣ ಮತ್ತು ಗಣ್ಯರ ಮೆಚ್ಚುಗೆ

ಇಂಡಿಯಾ ಬುಕ್ ಆಫ್ ರೆಕಾರ್ಡ್ಸ್ ಮತ್ತು ಏಷ್ಯಾ ಬುಕ್ ಆಫ್ ರೆಕಾರ್ಡ್‌ನ ತೀರ್ಪುಗಾರ ಕನ್ನಡಿಗ ಶ್ರೀ ಹರೀಶ್ ರವರು, ಈ ಸಮೂಹಗಾಯನ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವು ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದಲ್ಲೇ ಮೊದಲ ಬಾರಿ ಜಾಗತಿಕ ಮಟ್ಟದ ದಾಖಲೆಬರೆದ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ಎಂದು ಘೋಷಿಸಿದರು. ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಪರಿಶ್ರಮ, ದೃಢಸಂಕಲ್ಪ ಹಾಗೂ ಸಮರ್ಪಣೆಯನ್ನು ಅವರು ಶ್ಲಾಘಿಸಿದರು.

ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷತೆಯನ್ನು ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಸಂಸ್ಥಾಪಕ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ಕೆಂಪೇಗೌಡ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿ ಪುರಸ್ಕೃತರು ಡಾ. ಶ್ರೀರಾಮಚಂದ್ರ ರವರು ವಹಿಸಿದ್ದರು. ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರ ಶ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಮೆಚ್ಚಿದ ಅವರು, “ಈ ಐತಿಹಾಸಿಕ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ನಮ್ಮ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯುವಂತಾಗಿರುವುದು ಪುಣ್ಯ” ಎಂದು ಹೆಮ್ಮೆಯಿಂದ ಹೇಳಿದರು.

ಗಣ್ಯರಿಗೆ ವಂದನೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸುವ ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿಯನ್ನು ಇತಿಹಾಸ ಉಪನ್ಯಾಸಕ ಶ್ರೀ ಆನಂದ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ ರವರು ನಿರ್ವಹಿಸಿದರು.
