Campus hiring activity for candidates passing out in the year 2016 on 8th Jan 2016, 9:00 am

Venue: City Engineering COllege, Doddakallasandra, Kanakpura Main Road,Next to ISKON Gokulam Apartments, Bangalore

1. Eligibility Criteria: -

a. Candidates having scored a minimum of 60%, 55% & 60% or above in all three courses, namely SSC, HSC & Degree.
b. Gap - Max 1 year gap permissible in the entire academic career and that too only between any two courses.
c. No loss of year due to failure to pass any exam.
d. Branches – Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, Statistics, Computer Application.
e. 4 year MS programme through BITS Pilani is being offered to interested candidates (applicable to candidates with Min.60% + at X , XII , Graduation only)

2. Bond/Service Agreement: -
Rs.1,50,000/- 4 years , for candidates opting to take up the MS program
Rs.1,00,000, 2 Years , for non-BITS candidates

3. Training on Joining -

On joining candidates will undergo training for a period of 3 months approximately. Failure to complete this training successfully will result in termination of employment.

4. Place of Posting -

Post successful completions of training , candidates are liable to be posted in any of the operational locations of the organization.

Preplacement Talk (Can be done prior to activity date based on your confirmation)
Aptitude Test (Includes Aptitude + English) to be followed by an English Comprehension Test for successful candidates. This is a web based test & will be conducted online.

Global Investment Research (GIR) - Produces fundamental research and analysis of industries, companies, and economics, which drive much of both the day to day and the long term commercial business for the firm. The majority of the division is focused upon equity research, which is organized largely into industry sector teams. The sector teams work together on a global basis to analyse the companies and stock

(A).The Data Management team is responsible for managing the publishing workflow of their coverage and analyst setups for various disciplines within GIR, and the contact and interest details of their clients.

General Responsibilities:

Work with other members of the Data Management Team in Bangalore and New York to perform data collection, data quality assurance and reporting functions to senior management for the following key divisional projects:

•Coverage Management – work with sector analyst teams and the Research Publishing Group to enter and manage relevant company data in the GIR database.
•Client Data Management – responsible for data collection of relevant client relationship information
•Analyst Scorecard – tracks a variety of metrics related to analyst performance including results from broker review, stock picking performance and model quality etc.

Key Skills:

•Full time graduates with 0 – 1 years of experience
•Strong analytical skills, with high attention to detail and data accuracy
•Solid understanding of databases and reporting tools
•Strong communication skills (oral and written)
•Good business judgment and the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines:
•Ability to problem solve and troubleshoot through complex issues and data sets
•Advanced Excel skills; VBA/Macro writing experience a plus
•Ability to multi-task and work with numerous teams
