Our Mission:
Tamil is one of the few ancient languages of the world spoken by more than a hundred million people across the globe.
Primarily, Tamil is the mother of all South Indian languages and today Tamil is spoken widely in South India, Sri Lanka, Singapore and Malaysia.
Considering the globalization and the widespread use of English and other languages, the number of people speaking Tamil is diminishing faster than ever.
The Universal Tamil University is recogonizing the contributions of Tamils and the significance of the language. It is attempting to preserve the language by making a world community of Tamils ans is trying to collaborate with other languages globally being located in the Singapore.
The Universal Tamil University, Singapore is soliciting the participation of all organizations, Tamil and others to enhance the relevance of Tamil Traditions, art and literature.
This is a Cultural Embassy of Tamils living around the world.
