The Undergraduate Technical Program – B.Voc is a 3-year program that is based on the National Skills Qualification Framework (NSQF- levels 5, 6 and 7). Consequently this program is designed to be industry focused, with exit and entry points each year and aims to prepare its graduates for skill-based careers in the creative industries. Our Story

The Undergraduate Technical Program at Srishti is a 3-year program that is based on the National Skills Qualification Framework (levels 5, 6 and 7).

National Skills Qualification Framework (NSQF) is a nationally integrated education and competency based skill framework that provides for multiple pathways, horizontal as well as vertical, across education subsystems. NSQF addresses the skill gap in India by driving policy at the governmental level to introduce skill-based employment oriented courses.

Under this program, Srishti offers courses which follow the National Skills Qualification Framework (levels 5,6,7) and incorporate the National Occupational Standards (NOS) as laid down by the concerned sector skill council.

The program is designed to be industry focused, and aims to prepare its graduates for skill-based careers in the creative industries. Using an apprenticeship model, the program allows the students to work with and be mentored by creative industry experts to nurture the entrepreneurial spirit among a diverse group of learners and prepares them to be work ready.

Programs offered are:

CREATIVE CODING

This course is designed to provide students with a proficiency in coding and programming. The three years of this course align with the levels 5,6, and 7 of the NSQF guidelines and creates skilled employees for the Information Technology - IT enabled Services sector.

CREATIVE MANUFACTURING

This course trains students in design, merchandising, productivity and entrepreneurship, to create business-ready design practitioners. The three years of this course align with the levels 5,6, and 7 of the NSQF guidelines and creates skilled employees for Textile & Handloom, and Apparel, Made-ups & Home Furnishings sectors.

DIGITAL FILM MAKING

This course is envisioned to provide opportunities to students in the fields of direction, editing, sound recording and design, cinematography and production design. The three years of this program align with the Levels 5,6 and 7 of NSQF guidelines and creates skilled employees for the Media and Entertainment sector.

DIGITAL MEDIA PRODUCTION

Digital Media Production is a practice that uses digital technology in the production and conception of art and design in the fields of animation, game design and visual effects. The three years of this course align with the Levels 5,6 and 7 of NSQF guidelines and creates skilled employees for the Media and Entertainment sector.

GRAPHIC ARTS & DESIGN PRACTICES

This course focuses on developing skills that cater to the print as well as web and screen-based design industries, animation and motion graphics. The three years of this course align with the levels 5,6, and 7 of the NSQF guidelines and creates skilled employees for the Media & Entertainment sector.

INTERIOR DESIGN & BUILD

Interior Design and Build focuses on spatial design with sensitivity to materials, processes, cost and users. The uniqueness of the course is that students learn through hands-on making and working in real world contexts. The three years of this course align with the levels 5,6, and 7 of the NSQF guidelines and creates skilled employees for Construction, Retail, Tourism & Hospitality and Media & Entertainment sectors.

USER INTERFACE & INTERACTION ENGINEERING

This course aims to equip students with skill sets to design and develop desirable and useable user interfaces and interaction designs for products and services, that enhance the overall user experience. The three years of this course align with the Levels 5, 6 and 7 of NSQF guidelines and creates skilled employees for the Information Technology - IT enabled Services sector.
