Maastricht University doing great in rankings again!

Maastricht University is one of the best young universities in the world and was ranked eighth in the QS Top 50 under 50. This ranking for universities younger than fifty was published for the fifth time in 2015. The QS Top 50 under 50 focuses on universities with similar backgrounds, while more general rankings include institutes of different ages and profiles.

Maastricht University doing great in the rankings again, climbing positions each year!

Maastricht University (UM) climbed to shared 88th place in the latest edition of the Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings, up from number 101 last year.

Did you know Maastricht University offers a course in PBL training and Dutch culture to help familiarize students with their new environment? Check it out here!

Maastricht University is proud of its Problem Based Learning (PBL) system. However, we are aware that it can be quite a challenge for students who are new to it. In order to make them familiar with the PBL system as fast as possible, we have designed the Academic Skills and Acculturation course, which is designed to help you adapt to the Problem Based Learning environment and explore academic communication skills required at Maastricht University. Moreover, the programme will also focus on Dutch culture, making it a perfect start to get to know the Netherlands a bit better! The course takes place between the 10th and 13th of August.
