Hey guys, we are in the process of registering our own NGO, "EcoVita Foundation" which is going to be based out of Uttarakhand, India. By working on this project, we want to share our view of not just conserving the environment but also promote the use of environment as a tool of economic sustainability.
In our opinion, it is high time that we stop going against nature to satisfy our never ending desires and work on a society that is happy and lives in harmony with nature. In order to do so, we require a team of like minded individuals who are genuinely interested in this initiative and can bring their own ideas and perspectives that can help lift off this project.

Dowry has been one of the biggest social evils prevalent in India since age old times. While the Indian government has tried to eradicate this practice, the root of the problem had to be targeted by the society itself.

Nilambur, a little municipality in Kerala, has taken a stand against dowry in a unique way. It has become the first place in India to declare itself a dowry-free zone. This town also boasts of a fully matriculate population. That's two thumbs up and a standing ovation for setting an inspiring example!
