An interaction meeting was held at Minerva, RVEI, with K. N. Ramesh, IAS, Bengaluru South City Commissioner(Greater Bengaluru Authority) and faculty members from RV Educational Institutions(RVEI). The session created a meaningful platform for dialogue on how academic institutions can actively support government initiatives, especially in the context of manpower and resource constraints.
During the interaction, the Hon’ble Commissioner emphasised the valuable role academia can play through systematic observation, data collection, monitoring, and constructive feedback, contributing to better governance and public service delivery. Faculty and staff representatives from various RVEI institutions participated actively, reflecting a shared commitment to collaborative engagement and socially relevant contributions.
The meeting underscored the importance of partnerships between educational institutions and civic authorities in strengthening governance, encouraging knowledge-based inputs and fostering community-centric solutions.
